Hey guys,
I'm new to Livecode and working with databases.
I've got an inventory software that I'm working on, and I'm just trying to get some rough ideas on how I could store content on a local or offsite server.
This would be information I would like to retrieve from the server, display it and manipulate it client side, then save it again to the server.
Right now I am focusing on OSX and Windows Desktop deployment.
Once it gets polished, I would like to make a version that is Mobile - and ideally have the mobile and desktop versions connect to the same server database.
And later later later down the road, I would like to deploy this application for others to use - where they can create and manage their own database that would still be located on my server.
So, I know this is a lot - but I'm just trying to wrap my head around how all of this could be done with Livecode.
New to Databases - a few questions.
