Stack with browser widget suddenly super slow to start

Post by Ormente » Sat Jun 25, 2016 11:13 pm

I tested the browser widget a few days ago, and didn't notice anything abnormal at the time.

I can't recall anything changed, bu now, everytime i use the browser widget i have these symptoms: everything is normal and works well in livecode, but when i make a standalone 1/ the standalone takes 2-3 minutes to start and 2/ the widget doesn't resize with the window.

I'm on Windows 10, "compiles" only for this target for now, and uses LC 8.1.
I did a test with another LC 8 but with no better luck.

If i start the standalone from the command line i get an error message pretty qickly, then nothing until the windows pops up (minutes later) :

Code: Select all

[0622/200751:ERROR:main_delegate.cc(764)] Could not load cef_extensions.pak
In the meantime i can find my standalone process as well as two "librowser cef" processes, none of them consuming significant CPU.

If i start livecode afresh, then load my stack, it didn't show until some kind of event is triggered, such as passing the mouse cursor over one of LC windowws, or changing desktop.

Ah! And sometime the standalone create an empty folder names "databases-incognito".

Thanks for your help.
