Post by ameguira@gmail.com » Tue Oct 16, 2018 9:29 pm

Hi all
I am using the latest LC version on windows.
I am only able to play video with mpg extension. LC refuses to play mp4 files.
I know also that there are sommes issues with .mov files also.
Thank you for your help

This is likely to be a codec issue. LiveCode players use VFW, which I gather for licence bundling reasons, does not include the codec by default. Other players (Windows Media Player or Groove etc) are set up with appropriate codecs, so it appears that the videos will play fine except on LiveCode.

The solution is to install the (free, and trustworthy) K-Lite Codec Pack
