New database library for mobile to be available shortly

Hey Folks,

Since I am about to release a new database library, I
decided to share a video about it.

https://vimeo.com/46918350

This database was created for mobile development. It is tested and targeted at SQLite and makes it really easy to create common database apps.

Feedback is welcome!

Cheers

Re: Nexus 7 / Jelly Bean

+1 Confirmed My app was working perfectly on Android 4.0.4, just upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the app no longer launches. The device is a Samsung Galaxy S. We need this solved. Incremental upgrades to the Android OS should not break apps like that. This will break all apps on the Google Pl...

Re: Ubuntu deb package builder

Hey Folks, Richard told me about the devious plan to make LiveCode under Linux more usable by building a packager! I think it is a great idea and I want to help. Unfortunately my two linux machines (A PC and a Sheevaplug) are both dead with fried PSUs. I will see what I can come up with from working...

Re: can't install to real device because INSTALL_PARSE_FAILE

Thanks for the guidance guys! I solved it by being stubborn and shaking the SDK a couple times.

Thanks for all the help!

can't install to real device because INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_IN

Anyone has ever seen this?

INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_INCONSISTENT_CERTIFICATES

I am not signing my app, so this should not be an issue.

Anyone has a clue?

AndreGarzia.com my new web page powered by LiveCode Server

Hello Folks, It is full of joy and pride that I announce my website redesign here. Those that accessed my home page recently knew that it was not being updated often, actually, it was not being updated at all. I always wanted to recreate everything with LiveCode and now I've did it. I started yester...

Re: How can I emulate a Javascript dopostback in Livecode?

Bernd, You can't process javascript like this with LiveCode. You could try using a RevBrowser window to load the given HTML and interact with it from that context but this probably too error prone. In summary it is really hard to scrap dynamic webpages full of javascript. I don't think it can be don...

Survey about Social Network Support Libraries for LiveCode

Hi Folks, I am trying to sense the market for a set of Social Network Libraries for LiveCode. For those that were not at the RunRevLive.11 conference, I demonstrated some libraries working with Facebook and Twitter integration. For those with Twitter and/or Facebook accounts, I invite you to take a ...

Re: POLL: Which Linux distro do you use?

I use Ubuntu 10.10 as my Desktop Linux and use CentOS 5.x as my Server Linux.

I wish we had the old engines for BSD, Irix, Solaris available again... even if old, they are still useful. Also building RevServer for ARM would enable lots of appliances to be develop (check pogoplug or sheevaplug).
