I play Horde on Duskwood. But I'd start something new up... we could make a guild maybe... I checked for new servers and have set up a character or two on Thrall. Message me as "Fredrich" on Alliance :-) I havent set up a Horde character there yet though - if you have a species preference, let me k...

Mostly on Mac, but have the Windows version also, and it's installed on my XP laptop, and then my kids have a copy also, and theirs installed on a Windows ME box. I've never had Warcraft, but heard it was similar in game style to AOE, is that true? If so, I'll probably make the investment to get th...

How to Join Revolution Forums/Logging into Revolution Forums
Runtime Revolution has made some (hopefully temporary) changes to joining the forums. Virtual Get Togethers on World of Warcraft
Ive noticed a few Revolution users also happen to be players of World of Warcraft. Anyone interested in getting together to do a totally different type of hacking? Maybe we can designate an unofficial user server for get togethers. I know some folks have found Second Life to be fun, but there is not...

I think such a database would contain a few 100s of lines in most projects. For bigger projects, one would probably prefer creating one's own database. So, I think these databases will be small. Mark It seems like it would be possible to either implement a basic database system in Adventure Creator...

Handing Dialog Trees in Media Games - Feedback please :-)
Hi all, I had an interesting discussion with Malte earlier about integrating a dialog tree system in the Adventure Creator template (or additional tools). Malte and I seemed to agree that dialog text should exist outside of a project. I happen to like the idea of having it stored in a database so it...

Re: When is a database an SQL DB?
... - When is an online information resource an SQL database? SQL is a query language for databases, and there have been several "revs" of the standard - these will often be expressed in the year of adoption of the standard, such as SQL '92.
