Re: Android Native Field Return Key

Does it not work? Your script looks OK, but please put QUOTES around the returnkeytype:

Code: Select all

...
mobileControlSet "fieldA", "returnKeyType", "next"
...
mobileControlSet "fieldB", "returnKeyType", "send"
...

Hi Carolyn,

Re: cAPITAL lETTER pROBLEM

Again, I don't get this surely funny meme!? Just put it down to cultural differences. 8) OK, it has to do with riding a bycycle, right? I educate (and make fun of you sometimes) you, and you annoy me. That sounds a bit arrogant. Your words (except the ones inside of the brackets), check the link! H...

Oh, and, Klaus : saddlesore-sized.jpg Again, I don't get this surely funny meme!? But don't forget our "kinky relationship": "I educate (and make fun of you sometimes) you, and you annoy me." And we are both very good at that! :D http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31001#p167189

Re: export snapshot.

Hi Googie, if you do not provide an absolute pathname, the engine presumes "the defaultfolder", which is the folder containing the engine and that is NOT writable, so your script generates an error and stops! Do this: ... ## The only folder on mobile where we have definitvely write permissions: put ...

Re: Checking whether external image file exists

Hi Monts, the magic word is BRACKETS! :D Either do this, no brackets required: ... put "cat" into tImage put "c:/Users/myName/Documents/Images/" into tFolder put tFolder & tImage & ".png" into tImageFile if there is a file tImageFile then set the filename of img "animal" to tImageFile ... Or, with b...

Re: Android screenshot

Hi Googie,

1. I deleted your double posting, one thread per question is enough.

2. Yes. But why don't you take a look into the dictionary (im-/export snapshot)?
That would have answered your question immediately! 8)

Re: How to get all the menu items of all buttons on one card

Hi cogito (ergo sum?),

you can of course SET again what you have GET (gotten) before:

Code: Select all

...
set the text of btn "xyz" to (line 1 to 3 of fld "the field with all the menu items")
...
I will leave the extraction of the correct lines for your button(s) from the field up to you :D
