Re: What is tsNet-x86.dll ?

Hi Jon,

all NET stuff like load/liburldownloadtofile etc. is handled by this DLL.
And it should go into the "Externals" folder in the folder with your EXE.

Re: Numbers keyboard and screen sliding with keyboard

Hi omsbsd, welcome to the forum! :D 1. Use this command: ... mobileSetKeyboardType "numeric" ... 2. I don't own a mobile devce nor do I develop for mobile, but I would simply move the field X pixel "upwards" "on openfield", so it is not covered by the keyboard. Then "on closefield" and "on exitfield...

Re: Download file to desktop...

Hi Jon,

the trick is, to put handlers like these into the script of the first CARD and not into the stack script!
This way, they will only be executed in the stack they were meant for, and no need for "dummy" handlers anymore. :D

Re: Download file to desktop...

Hi Jon, "load url..." will only load that URL into a cache and you have to take care what to do with the file after successful download. But -> specialFolderPath("desktop") & "http:// www. mywebserver.com /FileToDownload. zip" will NOT give you a valid url to download a file from! On my machine it w...

Re: Image peculiarity...

I did not say that using the "official" syntax is the solution here, that was just a recommendation! :-)

Unfortunately I cannot explain what the text iof img 1 is empty when referenced.
I just remember that I read this somewhere, sorry.

Re: Image peculiarity...

For referenced images "the text of img xyz" = EMPTY ! For imported images this property is actually the data displayed inside of the image. And you are not using the official syntax, either: ... put img 1 into img 2 ... or (see above) ... set the text of img 2 to the text of img 1 ... Yes, I know th...

Re: Windows 10 put URL not returning results

Hallo Werner,

you can check "the result", which is EMPTY on success and if not, may give you some hints.

Code: Select all

...
put url "http://www.google.com" into field "test" of card "login"
if the result <> EMPTY then
  answer ("Error:" && the result)
end if
...
Tell us what you see, if any!

Re: images din't appear when files transfered

The one with the "cross" sign.

For images the 5th tab from the left: Basic, Custom, Colors, Effects, Position, ...
The checkbox at the top of that tab.

Re: images din't appear when files transfered

Hi snarf,

welcome to the forum! :D

To avoid resizing do this:
1. Resize your image(s)
2. Then go to the inspector for the image(s) and check "lockloc" (Lock size and Position) on the "Position" tab.

That's it, no more unwanted resizing!

Re: Browser Widget and external JavaScript files

Hi Folko, welcome to the forum! :D Hm, sounds like a path problem. Are you also using external HTML files? If yes, put the JS files into the same folder as the html. Unfortunately I do not know what the browser widget thinks is the current "defaultfolder". On what platform are you experiencing this ...
