Hi Kaveh,

does the shorter URL syntax work?

put fld "text" into url("file:" & my_file)

In that case use this script: on mouseup pu...

I call my li'l functions "q" (quotes) and "q2" (single quotes), but the name "kwote" definitively bears Richmonds signature! :D

How can I play this FileMaker report in Livecode?
Do I read that as "How do I get FileMaker data into LiveCode, so I can process it"?
...
no, that is just an example FM report layout that Carles would like to re-create in LC.
The data are coming from a SQLite database.

Yes, "revreportsetup.rev" is just a very very basic easy-peasy-ny-teenie-version of what Carles needs! :-D

Re: How to place a transparent PNG image over card image?

I'm looking for the code, not condescension. Being condescending was really not intended! It should be obvious from my initial question that I am referring to runtime. Should be, but wasn't! But it is not obvious on how to do that with code at runtime. As SparkOut wrote, set the correct layer of th...

How did you do that?
Probably the same way as you do/did:
1. Create a stack
2. Import a JPG image
3. Import a transparent PNG image
4. That's it

Re: How to place a transparent PNG image over card image?

Hi John,
it simply refuses to accept two images on the same card. Or am I missing something here?
you MUST be missing something here, I do this all the time, no problems!?
