Hi. Does anyone out there know what the requirement of providing source code under the GPL with the Community Edition requires?
Do you need to distribute your source stack(s) in order to fulfill the requirement? Or, can you simply export your source code to a text file and fulfill the requirement?

LiveCode
I'm a bit surprised that there isn't a discussion regarding the change from Revolution to LiveCode. I myself am still trying to get my head around the changes and what it means to me. It seems that one of the immediate changes is that a $299 license like I currently have will be more limited than it...

Re: answer file with type .pages & .numbers bundles
Hi Klaus, I'm not Japanese, just a fan of the old school anime classic "Akira". So, as follow up to my earlier question, since a .pages or a .numbers "file" is returned as the path from the answer file command, but they are actually directories, is there some way to test a path to see if it is a fil...

answer file with type .pages & .numbers bundles
I'm using the following to allow the user to select .csv or .tab files: answer file "Select a .csv or a .tab file:" with type "Comma Separated Values|csv, tab" It works great except for the fact that iWork documents are now bundles (i.e. they are unix directories) similar to application bundles. This...

Mark, Thanks for being patient with me. I think we're starting to speak about the same thing. What I was attempting to ask about 2 posts back was an example of not using the geometry manager for resizing controls when the window/stack is resized. For instance, what would be the simplest way to scale...

I'm sorry. I'm not being clear. I thought you meant to not use the geometry manager at all, like for keeping the fields scaled when the window is resized. That's what I was asking about. The code I ended up with for my splitter/resizer/divider is basically your simple example with some handlers for ...

Hey, thanks for the tips! They've been extremely helpful. :D What I've ended up with is the following: on mouseDown lock cursor set the cursor to 31 repeat until the mouse is up if item 1 of the mouseLoc > the uMinWidth of me and item 1 of the mouseLoc < the uMaxWidth of me then set the loc of me to...

Drag to resize list fields
Hi. I'm attempting to create an interface where I have two list fields side by side. I would like the user to be able to click in the space between the two lists and then drag left or right to and have the lists widths to be resized. What I've attempted to do, is to put a tall narrow rectangle in th...
