Hi, I have a field, say txtDate, where I would like to validate whether the user has entered a valid date or not: set the useSystemDate to true if fld txtDate is a date then put "true" else put "false" When I put a any number into the field then, say 1 or 123 or whatever, the validation results in "...

Re: Apps deployed for mac os x do not start
Hi malte, Klaus and ForthWorld,
I have reviewed the existing reports. However I have decided to enter the problem into quality.runrev.com because I think that these reports do not address the problem exactly: http://quality.runrev.com/qacenter/show_bug.cgi?id=8624
Thanks to all
Jörg

Re: Apps deployed for mac os x do not start
Thanks to all repliers to my question! In the meantime I was able to solve the problem by myself: I had the special character "ä" in the name of the folder where I deployed the applications. Re: Web-based discrete event simulation
BvG, thank you very much for your answer. Yes, the server is indeed a new machine and a rack server too. The reason why I don't want to use ASP.NET is, that I changed to Mac and want to use it as an cross platform development environment too. And, I tried something with Visual Studio, ASP.NET and C#...

Web-based discrete event simulation
I am completely new at runrev and looking for a possibility to realize a web-based discrete event simulation (business game) in order to simulate the processes within a hospital. I have to do this for my phd-thesis. First of all maybe I would like to explain you the requirements or better said, the ...
