Hi Glenn,
You can roll your own without much difficulty. Check out ScrollbarOmatic on Sample Stacks for some ideas.

Alien Civilization Detection
A few years ago I created a simulation in LC called Alien Civilization Detection which was endorsed by Stephen Webb in his blog along with a link to download it. Webb is the author of “If The Universe Is Teeming With Aliens . . . Where is Everybody?” Since his website no longer exists I thought I sh...

Re: [ANN] Circling Balls Illusion
Thank you all for your kind words. And, I am ashamed that I forgot to use Lock Screen. So, I've included that plus some some other cleanup in this revised copy:

Re: [ANN] Circling Balls Illusion
Lagi,
Thanks for noticing the parallels between my stack and wave motion as so cleverly demonstrated By Prof, Laithwait. I love watching the videos that you referenced. Thank you!

[ANN] Circling Balls Illusion
Introducing my LC version of a well know dynamic optical illusion wherein a number of balls appear to be circling inside of a bigger circle.

Re: better progress bar
As others have suggested, you can roll your own. Some ideas might present themselves by having look at ScrollBarOmatic and RadialDialOmatic available in Sample Stacks.

Thanks Craig. Apparently you missed the Parameters control panel where both the Contagious Zone and the Individual V(velocity) Diversity can be controlled:

Infection Simulation
Screen Shot 2021-12-28 at 7.03.29 PM.png I just uploaded a stack called “Infection" to Sample Stacks which might be a little fun (in a scary way) for some of you. It’s a Monte Carlo simulation wherein a number of individuals randomly moving about in an enclosed space, are infected by a single rando...

Re: The Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool
In case there is anyone left here that wants to continue playing, consider another approach to the Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool: The points of a polygon that has been tightly shrunk to fit (think superimposed) around an assembly of other overlapping polygons are all contained in a subset of the ...

Re: The Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool
Bernd, I just had to take a moment to tell you how impressed I am with your TraceOutlineOfGraphics stack. As near as I can tell at this early stage, you not only have managed to create a tool that mimics the old SuperCard Shrink tool, but also have provided me a treasure trove of LC scripting lesson...

Re: The Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool
Bernd, you astound me again with your genius. I only had a quick look at how your tracing is done, but that, of course is the trick! I have my work cut out to understand it.
Thanks,
Roger

Re: The Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool
Very strange. You should see a blue shape (poly) looking vaguely like Rect1 and Rect2 combined after a few seconds. Then if you look at the mouseUp script of the button, you can comment out the Lock Screen in line 6. This will allow you to see how the script is generating this blue poly. I hope that...

The Incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool
I have at times, lamented that I miss the old incredible SuperCard Shrink Tool that gave one the ability to shrink a polygon tightly around any assembly of other objects. I made extensive use of that tool back in the day, and have seen many instances in this forum and the List where this would have ...
