Search "livecode widget tutorial" Webroot: moderate risk
Searching "livecode widget tutorial" on Windows 10 I got some "moderate risk" "some probability" readings from Webroot. I used to get these from Band-In-A-Box and was told by their support that everything was OK. There never were any problems. Is this the case here? Just a hiccup?

Re: Copy/Paste does not work
"Please give 8.1dp2 a try, and report back here how it goes." It went very well. One quirk: in the Dictionary right-clicking on selected text did nothing. LC 8.0.1 Community (Stable) just installed. The problem was inherited from 7.1.4 after the .iso rebu...

Can I uninstall Quicktime and use VLC?

I had to install iTunes to get the necessary Apple Applicatio...

animationEngine.livecode with Windows 10
Does animationEngine.livecode with Windows 10 require some tweaking? My animationEngine.livecode is opening but most controls are not responding to clicks. All controls are selectable and the UseMe checkbox button does select. aeMoveTo the long name of stack "animationEngine", the screenLoc,1000,"bo...

Be sure to login before posting. Otherwise if you "save draft" you lose your post.
And it's your own fault! Composing elsewhere and pasting to forums is also a good idea.

"RunRev" in Wikipedia - no mention of free Community
The "RunRev" listing in Wikipedia is incomplete and out of date. There is NO mention of the free Community version. Isn't Wikipedia a great advertising tool? A review of Livecode in PCWorld has 1 comment... on HyperCard. With a little organizing I'll bet LiveCode users would be glad to make short co...

Re: Simulate a video editing timeline
Last paragraph should say:
So my latest fields are below the screen but the vScroll bar remains inactive.
'set the top of group 1 of stack "Player Event Notes" to -200' reveals the lower fields.
Maybe this is the way to go. Use a menu button to choose what to show.
