Double click on LC stack
Hi all, I am using LC 6.7.0-dp-4 in a MAC with OS X 10.9.2 (13C1021). Assume the application LiveCode is closed. If I double-click on the icon of a live code stack (LiveCode document) , the Livecode application will open but the stack will not be opened automatically. I have to double click the icon...

Re: New command revBrowserOpenCef
Hi Paulo, the Chromium Embedded Framework libraries used by the new browser are loaded the first time a browser is created with revBrowserOpenCef. As these libraries are quite large (around 50MB) this would account for the delay. Ian. I am testing this stack with LC 6.7.0-dp-4 in a new iMac with OS...

New command revBrowserOpenCef
Using LC 6_7_0_dp_4 I tryed to use the new command revBrowserOpenCef to start RevBrowser. I realized that it is very slow and it takes ages to upload HTML text. See my stack attached. If I open the web page below with the first START button (with revBrowserOpen ) revbrowser opens it soon. If I open ...

Hello Revs, how can I install LC Server 6 on Windows Server 2012 with Microsoft IIS 8? Re: Inserting and managing videos in a multiplatform app
Hi Al,
actually that's exactly what I did!!!
However, using a RevBrowser window to insert videos in our apps is clearly a workaround, not a solution.
A comprehensive solution to manage streaming videos is needed.
All the best

Re: Inserting and managing videos in a multiplatform app
Hi Klaus, unfortunately deploying an app for MACOSX, mp4 streaming videos and http streaming videos does not work in the player provided by the LiveCode IDE. As far as I know, it is the same for the Windows platform. For the iOS devices I was able to use the iOS multimedia features to manage streami...

Inserting and managing videos in a multiplatform app
Hi all,
how can I insert videos and start/stop them in an app for MAC/WIN/iOS/Android platform?
I have to show some long videos.
I can use mp4 video streaming (from a Wooza streaming server) or http streaming (from a web server).
Any solution available in the new LiveCode IDE ?
Thanks,
Paolo Mazza

Re: Idea's for VLC support - A replacement for Quicktime
Having a multi platform solution to manage video in LC applications would be great. At the moment if is a mess ... QUICKTIME for MACOS, HTML5/Mpeg4 for iOS, ??? for Windows and Linux We really need this implementation, and as far as I know VLC could be the right solution. I would be interested in an...

Re: Can't figure out 'No Code Signature'
Hi all, I had the same problem moving my app to the iPhone today. First I had to renew my provisionig profile, then I realized that I had two different certificates installed (the expired one and the new one) that were similar in the Key Chain. Probably LiveCode was getting confused even though I ha...
