Re: Licenses - Livecode Community

Hi,

The license doesn't say that you need to add comments. It would probably clarify a lot if you just read the license once.

Please, don't cite the entire message you're replying to, if that message is the previous message.

Kind regards,

Re: Licenses - Livecode Community

Hi, You should exactly what the license files state and nothing else. Where it says "and each file should have at least the “copyright” line and a pointer to where the full notice is found." it really means just that. Include the copyright line and don't point elsewhere. If you don't understand what...

Re: Slow screen update-Android

Hi Louis, For now I can only write that I have the same problem. Perhaps, you could try a different strategy, which avoids actual scrolling but just changes the icons of buttons. Show a particular set of images as icons of buttons depending on the scroll. Obviously, it won't be as smooth as you'd wi...

Hi, Yes, you need to include a license and no you can't use the MIT license. The MIT license if much more flexible. While the MIT license is compatible with GPL, GPL is not compatible with MIT. Re: PNG Tags

Hi Paolo,

Since ExifTool is a command line utility, you can call this utility using LiveCode's shell() function and tell it to add exif data to a PNG file.

Kind regards,

You can ignore the warning. Your executable will run fine. If you want to get rid of the warning, you can choose a different ico file.
