Re: Is livecode dead?

If it's never released, after being announced, then it's vapourware. Once it's released, even 15 years later, it's no longer vapourware.

FreeLibs for LiveCode

It's a sad first release, but need to start somewhere.

This initial release has functionality to use the native macOS calls to set your stacks in to full screen mode.

Use the Tools > Extensions Manager to install.

Re: Is livecode dead?

To me vapourware is software announced but not released. Microsoft used to pull that tactic to kill off competition.

[Q] Testing libraries

I'm noticing something weird when testing LiveCode Builder libraries and just curious if it is normal, a user issue or a bug.. When I have the test stack open, there is a widget created on the stack, that is the same name as my 'metadata title'.. Also, when I open the dictionary (and I think any oth...

So for example: set the foo of stack "bar" to TRUE If nothing handles the setProp foo, the library code would handle it and do whatever, or would I need to fudge in a backScript/frontScript to pas...

But I still kind of miss "Man Gets Beheaded By A Ceiling Fan." It was a noble effort for a stickman animation.

Why would you ever not keep that stack?!
