1. If I want pupils of mine to do programming homework, unless they are prepared to pay for a license they will have to depend on downloading one of the earlier Open Source editions . Not so. The Schools license allows students to use the license wherever they are, at home or at school. They are ta...

Re: Android App Bundle (.aab) Format is getting enforced

Folks, we apologise for the delay. There are a variety of tricky associated parts to this update which are taking a bit longer than estimated. While a full release with AAB support is on its way, if you have an urgent need in the interim please contact us on support@livecode.com and we should be abl...

Re: Is there going to be any LC support for Xcode beyond 12.1?

Just to add to what has already been said here: you can use Xcode 12.1 right now to build for iOS. Support for Xcode 12.3 will be coming in LiveCode 9.6.3.

Re: Need help taking LC project to Web, Android, maybe Macs

Hey Richmond, I know this is kindly meant, but actually you are not permitted by the EULA for Indy to set up a build service for someone else. You are absolutely welcome to build for others using Community. If you think about it for a moment, you'll see why this must be so. If it was permissible to ...

Hi Oscar, We identified an issue yesterday with the Windows download from the fulfilment email - it was linking to the older version which will not unlock with the new code. This has now been corrected, but to get the correct download for Windows, please log in to your account, here: https://livecod...

Re: RELEASE LiveCode 9.6.0 DP-3

We've had a discussion in the team regarding our Linux support, and agreed that the docs could do with a bit of an update. Most of the functionality works just fine on recent Linux distros, the reason its officially stuck back at 14.04/16.04 is because the browser widget doesn't work on later system...

Re: WHY?? is the forum set back to saturday 24 august?

Once again, I apologise for the glitches and any lost messages. I don't think many are actually lost, most will have caught up as the DNS got itself sorted out. But if any are lost, I apologise. This transition was not as smooth as we would have liked, despite the extensive planning and testing carr...
