Re: Possible bug found in Rev Web Player
Hi, good to hear it, its been a while as you know, and it would be a great option for something I am doing now, it just sometimes seems like the focus gets stuck in one direction (Mobile) and everything else just sits there, hopefully in the future well see some progress, thanks for taking time to p...

Re: Possible bug found in Rev Web Player
Anyone know of any other solution out there that combines the promise of this product, but with actual functioning, language and an API?

Re: Deployment to WEB
Interesting, too bad they don't have a multi platform variant, I have been waiting since 2008, hoping to see a full implementation, because I have some projects it would work perfectly for, but sadly, it appears, to be headed for the Attic, or the basement, not sure which.

Re: displaying a stack in a standalone
I'm not quite clear what you need to open a stack inside another stack for? As Klaus says, that's not possible. As JSB says, it's possible to fake a stack window position with the windowId. Why is this necessary though? If the reason is to be able to update data without recreating a whole standalon...

Re: displaying a stack in a standalone
Reelstuff, Hi. I am no expert in LiveCode as Klaus is ... but I've seen this question before. In the past the response has been usually something like ... "why would you want to open another stack in a stack?" (there are usually other 'work arounds' to your 'problem' or 'question'). However what ab...

Re: displaying a stack in a standalone
It thought it might be that way, so the only other method is to use a browser instance or wait I wonder if a revlet could be made to work?

displaying a stack in a standalone
I need to display a small stack inside a standaone, by "getting it" using some method that would work to display that stack inside a standaone. Is it possible to display a stack in a standalone, I experimented with "get URL" and go stack, but I think I may need to find a method of storing the stack ...

Questions about Standalone Applications Settings
I have a couple of things that I have been wondering about with regard to the form on the MAC section for http://www.stickyadz.com.s3.amazonaws.com/MAC.png Is the question marks some kind of place holder or does this have something to do with the reason you get a warning on some systems that have vi...

Re: Deploying Without App Store
Good idea, my initial thoughts are that a mechanism for regional distribution would be a favorable method of implementation. For example, Car dealers in the Atlanta ga area, could be placed in a region, along with the same mom and pop pizza locations that might also wish to distribute apps in that r...

Re: Deploying Without App Store
I can answer the question of how many installs as of Jan of this year, max 100 installs per year so if you test out an app, on a device, 99, Each time you provision a device then the total goes down, as far as an enterprise subscription, you have to meet the employee requirements or work for a compa...

text rendering in windows standalone
I found a previous thread on this topic however there appears to have been no solution, while testing a standalone, using 4.5.3 build 1210 Text displays and renders fine on OSX but when looking at the windows version, the text is fuzzy and difficult to read, sort of looks like something is wrong wit...
