Re: Ask command under iOS - Distinguish between Cancel and e

Hi jacque, thank you for the replay.

Well, the ask command under iOS:

Pressing the OK button with a string it gives an empty result.

Pressing the Cancel button gives a "cancel" result.

Entering an empty string and pressing OK, it gives a "cancel" result.

Re: Ask command under iOS - Distinguish between Cancel and e

Hi sturgis,

thank you for the replay.

In iOS, the first handler give the same result with "" and [Cancel]:

"You cancelled".

The second give this result with "" and [Cancel]:

"it: the result: Cancel"

PS
Now I will study your consideration on splashstack.

Ask command under iOS - Distinguish between Cancel and empty

Hi all, I'm working with the Ask command under iOS. Based on my experiments, it seems not possible distinguish from the Cancel in the result and an empty "it" result. Anybody had similar problems? Pseudo code: put it into A put the result into B if B is cancel then -- do something -- unfortunately i...

Re: How are the best display settings to make an ios&andro a

Hi Fasasoftware, if you lock at the Application Browser palette, you'll see a subStack that show you lot of useful information about Android device's screen sizes. Unfortunately on Android there are a lot of them. I hope that some Android's expert of the forum could give you more useful information ...

Hello Fasasoftware, waiting for other users to reply, watch this topic where it speaks of a useful plugin made by Peregrine that shows the main dimensions.

Re: Is mobGUI still supported?

I read with great attention all your interesting post and I want to add my contribution. Everyone has the right to write a plugin and put it on sale and this is right. What I really do not understand is why the manufacturer of LiveCode put it for sale in his store. I think it's a sort of conflict of...

Touch for moving an object

Hi all, I'm following this tutoria <...lessons/m/4069/l/11493-how-do-i-use-multi-touch-to-move-more-than-one-object> and all works well, the only problem I found is that when you touch the object, it moves under the finger instead of remaining in the initial position. I think I could solve by subtra...
