Re: Rotating a text field

Hi

Thank's Hermann. I haven't had chance to look into it since the post - it's a freebie for a relative so I have a couple more weeks to "fob him off" :D.

But I will definitely look at that as well.

Best, Lagi

Scott Rossi's Excellent examples for Newbies and Experts alike

Hi All, With Scotts new site his demo's and tutorials where not found - I painstakingly downloaded from archive.org and made a graphic and links to post here but Scott has kindly found his old stuff - made sure it works with LC 8 and sent me a link. I think we can all learn something here. http://ta...

Re: Our Klaus

I hate to break it to you all Klaus is actually a German AI BOT. It's a Livecode version of Joseph Weizenbaum's Eliza with artificial "Sarcasm" built in and an initial "German Humour" module added. "Craig" on the other hand is a fork of "Klaus" using recursion and exits the call early when the stack...

over 400 Views and Fewer than 35 Donors

Hi All 450 Views here 750 Visits to the gofundme page (127 yestrday) and 35 Donors. Maybe I should have stuck our cat in a tree and set the Goal at £300,000 - I would have got it in 5 hours. For the people on the fence - Sean's family has been contacted and say he is Coping. Now lets show him that t...

Re: From Minimize to Maximize the Lasagna with LC (='.'=) [SOLVED]

Hi All, Maybe Richmond is alluding to the "egg" as being a symbol of health, eternal life , the resurrection of Christ or the creation of the Universe. The original "Pagan" (villager/country dweller) rituals which celebrated the coming of spring that has been "Christianized" in Christian and Christi...

Re: GOFUNDME for one of US - UPDATE 2

Hi I have increased the goal to £10,000 - the £1000 was just a holding figure. Gofundme has got back to me and said I can change the beneficiary to his family if I need to so the funds will go to the people who will need it if the worst happens - I don't think it will but this will allay the fears o...

Re: From Minimize to Maximize the Lasagna with LC (='.'=) [SOLVED]

There is an english idiom As sure as eggs is eggs - meaning certainly no doubt - or something is 100% sure. I don't know if Richmonds is "playing" on that and not getting my sexual connotation which I assumed he was alluding to as he used the variable SEX. - or maybe I have an overactive Hypothalamu...

Re: All text entry fields on program not working

HI,

Can you explain what your coding issue was and then this thread will be useful to others?

As it is, only Richmond's post is useful but is easier much easier to solve in most cases.
