Hi Marielle,

The first site I had a look at said: free for educational use. Do you also have a section with links to materials that are completely free, not just for educational use, but also for commercial use?

Re: Help re: flushebents, kill and systemwindow

Hi Christina, With so little information, it is really difficult to come up with a good reply. Why don't you use the launch command or, if the menu is a Revolution application, why don't you build just one standalone that includes all applications? On which are you trying to use the shell? I guess i...

You're right Preston, something went wrong with the latest site update. It has been fixed and the contact links on the site work now. When you mentioned special language characters, didn't you refer to unicode? I can easily send you some unicode examples that are completely useless with Revolution, ...

Open the property inspector of your field and uncheck the Don't Wrap checkbox. You can also use this syntax:

set the dontWrap of fld "Your Field" to false

Hi Preston,

I'm involved in several larger and smaller projects that use "special language characters" or unicode. Have a look at the Economy-x-Talk web site for a general impression and contact me directly if you need a hand.

Hi Paul,

You might want to include problems like these in the bugs database:

http://support.runrev.com/bugzilla/bugzilla.php

I am sure that's a better place for reporting bugs than this forum.

Actually, making a plugin is fairly easy. Just make a stack with a button that does something you need often. Put the stack into the Plugin folder of the Revolution folder and start Revolution. You will see it appear in the Plugins submenu. Open the Plugin settings to make the plugin appear as a pal...

Dear bysteven, In your Documents folder, create another folder called My Revolution Media. Within that folder, create a folder Resources. In the Reserouces folder, create a folder Icon Libraries. These folders are automatically created by Revolution, if you use the built-in Image Library to create a...

Hi Timshark

I agree. A field should be able to contain separately aligned paragraphs. Unfortunately and imho understandably, RunRev doesn't give any info about bug fixes until after the fixes have been implemented.

My experience is that the dictionary is much slower in 2.7.1 than in 2.6.1. Also opening the docs stack takes a lot of time. I don't quite understand it, as it takes Rev only a few milliseconds to filter a variable with thousands of records. Why are the docs so slow?

If you like, you can also have a look at my collection of Sample Script. There is a HyperCard version and a PDF version. The collection contains a large number of scripts and is available at http://economy-x-talk.com . Have a look in the downloads section.
