Hi Tim ~ I would add to Klaus' advice... The Application Browser can be found under the Tools menu and... Images can be deleted in the Application Browser by clicking on the card name holding the image (on the left side of the pane), this will show all objects on that card including images. Then cli...

Hi Tim ~ If you have the buttons grouped and Behave like Background is turned on, then your code also works "as is", as long as you turn off the "RadioBehavior" of the group which will override your scripted behavior. If you leave RadioBehavior turned on, then use the "set the hilitedButton" or "set...

Oops.
Forgot to initialize the local variable. It's fixed now and should work.
My solution only counts to 60 as you indicated in your own code, but Mark's suggestion will go on forever as you also stated you wanted it to do.

Hi homer ~ One approach to the first question: local lastNumber=1 on mouseUp if lastNumber is not empty then repeat with i=lastNumber to 60 if the mouseClick is true then put fld "result" into lastNumber exit mouseUp else put i into field "result" wait 1 second if i = 60 then put 1 into lastNumber e...

One of the main reasons I'm trying to do this is that I have an Access application that my friend wants converted to something else. I only have the Mac version of Rev, but will test it on a Windows XP pc prior to putting it out there for you. It will be short of interfacing with an Access database...

I understand someone not wanting to provided source code. In other languages, they sometimes do, but that's okay. However, it would be nice to see any application CRM/Accounting, that's written in RunRev, so I can see how they are laying out Menus, doing reports, showing screens and flow. I like th...

Lynn, CheckoutApp was actually written using Python and Cocoa Framework. http://developer.apple.com/business/macmarket/checkout.html It's a cool product, but not a Revolution one. So I'm not sure if there are any applications like I'm looking for??? Alan True... it's not created with Rev, but as Ja...

Lynn, Thanks, I will definitely take a look. I don't own a Mac, but the tours should help greatly. Alan Ah yes, that app is Mac centric... sorry about that. But the tour vids pretty much cover everything anyway without even running the app. There are more CRM | CMS systems out there for Windows tha...

Do you know of any specific applications like I described that exist so I can get a feel for what a real commercial grade application would look like? Alan ````````````````` Hi Alan ~ One that I found that is very nicely done and that has the features you mentioned is called "CheckOut". You can dow...

Hi Derek ~

Here are a couple of ways...
In the script editor, drag and select the lines you want to comment out temporarily, then choose "Comment" from the Script menu.

Or...

You can put /* at the start of the section of code and */ at the end.

Upon further investigation, it seems my lost field disapeared upon quiting Rev. (I don't choose close stack and remove from memory prior to quitting Rev... I just save the stack, then quit Rev.) I see only that field disapear right before Rev quits. I was hoping to salvage it's content by opening th...

Ok. I can confirm that something is going on here. I just lost a field from an insurance database at work today, and I am NOT a happy camper. I back up every night and the backup is also affected. I'm going to have to retrieve a much older copy from another machine, go back to an earlier Rev version...

LOL! You're not the only one Björnke. "Grab" always feels like such a hostile and forward thing to do with a poor little Rev object, so it never enters my mind.

I initially had a misunderstanding of what the grid was. Apparently it just snaps your objects to it rather than showing a visible grid. I wouldn't use something like that, but I would like to have movable guides or have a marker extend from the ruler. That would be a cross platform feature.
