Open a LC document using a standalone

Hi

How can I open a LC document using a standalone? The LC document changes to a Unix document when I put it with a Standalone onto my laptop, and it will not open.

Re: Widgets causing problems?

After rewriting code 20 times or more due to Widgets not working. I finally give up, and will never use a widget again.

Re: Widgets causing problems?

Well it's more than another year I am still suffering from this widgets problem.

All the labels and images in my widgets disappear when I open in another version of LC or copy the stack to another computer.

Anyone else getting this problem?

Age Calculator

Has anyone come up with a way to determine the age and month of a person if given a date line 02/22/1877?

Re: Finding Itunes library on a Desktop

Vinyl with a tube amplifier is the best.

Thank you Richmond,

It worked for me, I was able to get right to my songs.

It appears the Mp3 files do not play well through Livecode. I get static.

MobilePickMedia

Can anyone confirm that MobilePickMedia even works? I have never gotten it to return any result after a song was selected.

Re: Pick a song

Hi Alan

I tried your test stack "TestAudio"

I am able to select a song. But it will not put any result or text into the "fldMusic" field. So the play command has nothing to play.

You were able to get it to work? "MobilePickMedia produces no result.

Thanks, Max

Re: Widgets causing problems?

Jacque

Thanks for responding. It's good to hear that they can work.

I will use graphic pics instead. At least until I can find a way to insure they are reliable for me.
