Re: Handlers not found in card script

Martin--

You can in fact get great help in this forum. However, you should look for the "Create it With LiveCode" forum where most of us have/are posting. If you don't have access--it is one of the private forums--then check with RunRev about gaining access.

Hope to see you there.

Re: Using LC for Slideshow

Is there any way to program button differently for 1st and second mouseUp? First mouseUp sets fullscreen mode, and second mouseUp undoes fullscreen mode. Do you have any idea how to script that? How about having 2 buttons exact same position. Make one visible and the other invisible and swap them i...

Super and sub-scripts

Is there a way to add super and subscripts within the text of a button or field or label or really any other visible container? For instance, what can be used in HTML.

Re: Icon Image Library

I am not quite sure that you understand exactly what I am asking...almost though. It is my fault. When you click on the property for say a button. Choose Colors & Patterns. Click on the left button for Fill (backgroundPattern), it shows the image library included in LC. There is a choice for Standar...

Re: Script editor

Like I wrote, it isn't a big deal. I just am really exploring the how's and why's in LiveCode to develop my own preferences for how to use it. I just seemed awkward to have to simply click on a control and then click on the code icon in the toolbar each time. cmd-opt-click sounds good. :)

Icon Image Library

How do I add an icon to the LiveCode image library so that I don't have to import it every time that I want to include it in my apps?

Script editor

Is there a preference setting to show tabs for all controls that have scripts in the card that is currently being edited? Or to you have to keep the script editor open all of the time to keep all of the scripts that have been edited in tabs in the script editor? For instance, I click on a button and...

I think that it is a GREAT idea! You are right, they are still struggling.

Re: Empty Project Browser

Is the mode of your stack toplevel?
I just found this last response. Sorry for not noticing it.

I don't know what "toplevel" means.

I have moved on from that project now anyway and am in the Create it with LiveCode course. Maybe I will get a better understanding of LC.

We are looking to open a LiveCode center in New Orleans to teach App development in the city.
Todd, who is the "we"?

Re: LiveCode Community

No where that I have found mentions GM version is why I am asking. Yet it is on the list. there is GM, DP, and RC (release candidate). The other thing is that I don't know where to find the info about which version I am using.

Re: LiveCode Community

Thanks. What is RC vs GM for the version being used and where do I find that info? I am using LiveCode 7.0.0 Build 100118 as found under the LiveCode menu and "About LiveCode".
