HI Tal,
I am new to Livecode programming, can you please tell how were you able to rotate a group. I am working on it but cannot find the right command.
I tried using revRotatePoly

Code: Select all

revRotatePly the long id of group "group 22", 45
But it didn't work.

the command is already in an "if" statement.
But whenever it is clicked it rotates at certain angle.

I've been trying that but cannot find the right command. I've searched dictionary, user guide, forum everywhere. Is their any command like "Stop revRotatePoly"?

And when I try to open it through livecode, it is showing the error "File is not a stack"

But when I try to open the code it is showing the error
"Unable to open stack. Stack is corrupted. Check for backup files"

I have used revRotatePoly under mouseUp. So whenever I drag the polygon to a particular location and drop it at that location, it will rotate to a desired angle. So far no problem. Actually I did everything right but mentioned the name of the object wrong in the script. And thats why I was getting errors and was unable to execute.

I am so sorry Shosean.
Actually I wasn't using the right object name in the command and thats why the command was not running. Had a little confusion.
