cannot find jdk path Android Studio 2.3.3

I have installed Android Studio 2.3.3 In the installation process, it asked to create a project. I chose Phone and Tablet with a minimum API 15: Android 4.0.3. It installed the requested components (Platform 26 revision2). It reports "Error: Could not determine java version from '9.0.1' what did I d...

Re: JDK path is none

I ran jdk_path.livecode shown below and it came up empty. I put some tags in the code and it was looking for c:\windows\sysnative\reg.exe - which it could not find on my computer

The error was: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.

Re: JDK path is none

I have the same problem, but none of the posted solutions work. I have installed java 9.0.1 on my windows 10. I can open the program. It is in the proper place: c:/program files/java Inside are two folders: jdk-9.0.1 and jre-9.0.1 BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR IN LIVECODE PREFERENCES. It currently shows JD...

deciphering message box

I am getting a message box that I can't decipher. It's connected to a datagrid, but even when I remove the formatting for the datagrid, the message box appears. Here is the message: 241,2417,1,_CalculateFormattedHeight 353,0,0,button id 1005 of group id 1004 of card id 1002 of stack "C:/Program File...

Adding code after compiling

Hi. I'm basically trying to figure out how to update my apps without having to recompile them and go through the Apple/Google approval process - and have the user redownload, etc. The time involved for this is too much - so I'm trying to streamline it. I have a database driven LiveCode app - which m...

Does anyone know why I am suddenly getting a popup "Use AIO Cleaner to save space" when I test on an Android? It never appeared before.

Thanks

Livecode (the program) crashes on launch

I have been using Livecode on Windows for several years. Today, my computer has decided that it won't launch the program anymore. The first Indy screen appears...then the popup asking if I want to associate the files with this version of Livecode. Then the whole thing closes. I've restarted my compu...

Re: mobilecontrolcreate browser

It's already using https Unfortunately, I need this connection to be secure - so disabling ATS is not really a good option.... unless it really doesn't matter as long as I am using an https connection. So can you give me more details on how important ATS is - and whether there are any other options?...

Re: tsneterr error sending images from mobile device to serv

The problem still exists. It says "success" - but the file isn't sent - or it arrives with 0 file size. When you do a answer the result, it shows an tserr error. Tested on multiple servers.

Re: tsneterr error sending images from mobile device to serv

So...just for the record... the solutions above didn't work.... I created a small stack with just two buttons - one to send an existing image to my server. The other to take a picture and send it to the server. The code for Existing Image: on mouseUp set the name of the templateImage to "imageUpload...

Re: tsneterr error sending images from mobile device to serv

I found this as a possible explanation: https://technicalsanctuary.wordpress.co ... directory/
and am going to try the solution - which is to put an extra / after the ip address. Will report on whether it works
