Android email doesn't work

I am trying to get an email sent from an Android. The device (a tablet) is configured to send email - because it returns "true" when I use mobileCanSendMail(). In my code, it says "Email sent" - but I never receive an email. What am I missing? tto, tsubject and tmessage are all variables pulled from...

So I have just found this and will try it: global gRCBrowser, gCard local sBrowserId on preopencard resizeStack # quit if we are not on a mobile device -- if the environment is not "mobile" then -- exit preOpenCard -- end if if the environment is "mobile" then # create the browser mobileControlCreat...

Browsers

I'm confused and frustrated because the script that used to work for going to a browser doesn't work on my android anymore. I'm not sure if I accidentally removed a key line of code or whether LiveCode changed. Here is the code for the browser global gRCBrowser, gCard local sBrowserId on preopencard...

Re: how to add an object to a group?

Hi. I want to put an image that was selected in mobilepickphoto into a group. It started as a templateImage. I renamed it to "imageupload" then after it uploaded: copy image "imageUpload" to group "group_volunteer" worked great...but now I have 2 images I can't say delete image "imageupload" because...

Re: Groups, layers & scrolling

Here is my stripped stack. I tried uploading the file, but it claims it's too big (although it's only 783,058) - so I have uploaded it on my server : http://www.toolsforbusiness.info/test_layers_scrolling2.zip Once unzipped, Click that you don't want to add an image, select a color and submit. It wi...

Re: Groups, layers & scrolling

Yes.... that is probably what is happening...but my scroller is dropping items from the old group and only scrolling some of them. If it scrolls properly, then the items are behind the picture and can't be seen.

I will make a simple stack and attach it later today.

Re: Groups, layers & scrolling

OK. I understand that, and I have been setting the layer of these stupid fields for several days..but they change. so, I put a button on the card to get the layer of the field and the layer of the image. On my computer, my button says that the layer of the field is 112 and the image is 123. This wou...

Groups, layers & scrolling

I have an image and several fields that go over the image. I have grouped them with other objects on the card and I need a scroller for that card because it does not fit on the screen. Initially, the image and the objects are invisible. They are activated in two stages - first the image, and then th...

I have been in Datagrid hell all day. I have a series of datagrids that are bringing in information from a url(turl) call. The information is loading properly . I want the user to be able to select an item in the datagrid (a button) and then do something with it. The problem is that many of th...

Re: cannot find jdk path Android Studio 2.3.3

So I have installed Java 8 instead of 9. and sure enough...Livecode can find the SDK (Android Studio 4.3.3 and Java 8) But I still have problems. I tried to create a key. I used the Livecode instructions: http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/32674-how-do-i-create-a-self-signed-certificate-for-an-and...

cannot find jdk path Android Studio 2.3.3

I have installed Android Studio 2.3.3 In the installation process, it asked to create a project. I chose Phone and Tablet with a minimum API 15: Android 4.0.3. It installed the requested components (Platform 26 revision2). It reports "Error: Could not determine java version from '9.0.1' what did I d...
