Re: "Mobile" category or categories for Dictionary

It would be nice to see a category to consolidate all the entries that are specific to the mobile environment

Re: Icon Sizes? Splash Screen Sizes?

This stack just helped me out of a hole. Great idea! Thanks!

MobGUI demo?

I dloaded and installed the MobGUI demo but I can't seem to use it with my stack: I just can't drag (or control-drag) controls from the MobGUI palette to my stack.
Can't find a doc for that case. What am I doing wrong?
How does the plugin know what stack it is supposed to work on?

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

Great! The new lesson (blog?) works just fine.
This opens new possibilities for all the Livecode fans who want to develop mobile stacks for themselves!

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

Neil,
Good news! I'm impatient! :-)
I also sent an email to Kevin Miller to the same effect 3 days ago.

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

In Standalone Application Settings I unchecked every single Requirements or Restriction, got the same error. Also filled the Internal App ID with fr.blabla.HelloWorld (HelloWord being the name of my stack) But what IS a Provisioning Profile? a file? I searched my entire hard disk for a file with the...

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

Thanks! I can build a standalone all right. But when I try to push it to my device in Xcode7 I get The executable was signed with invalid entitlements. The entitlements specified in your application's code Signing Entitlements file do not match those specified in your provisioning profile. (0xE80080...

Re: Provisioning profile

I'm trying to create a provisioning profile but I can't access Apple's portal because I'm not registered as a developer. That is possible since the last WWDC. It works using Xcode 7. But then how can I create a profile for Livecode?

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

I made some progress: I found that, using Xcode 7beta, it IS possible to develop and transfer an app to a mobile device for free , without registering as a $99/year developper. A provisioning profile was created in Xcode, which I was also able to see in iPhone Utility. I tried to name my standalone ...

Re: Testing on device without paying $99

Also, I just saw on https://www.bignerdranch.com/blog/flexi ... s-keynote/;
And with a unified Developer Program, Apple ID-based provisioning and Free Provisioning, getting into these platforms is easier than ever before.

Testing on device without paying $99

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 I'm trying to complete the process: develop a stack on Mac -> test it on Mac with simulator -> test it on my iPhone and obviously I don't want to pay $99 to be able to do that. I read on <https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/ios/documentation/IDEs/Concept...

Re: Running total in data grid

 I finally found a solution which I post here for whoever may need it in the future:    dispatch "SortDataByKey" to group "myList" with "MDateFld" , "system dateTime" , "ascending"    put the dgNumberOfLines of group "myList" into nl    put 0 into q    repeat with i = 1 to nl -- loop through e...

Re: Running total in data grid

But how do I do what you said: You can extract, act on and restore the data to its original sorted order I can sort the grid OK, put the dgData into a container OK, but how can I act on it in its sorted order ? That's what I tried to do in my previous post. Could anyone show where I did wrong, with ...

Re: Running total in data grid

Well, I can sort the records of the datagrid all right. But how can I loop through the data in the order the records are displayed in the datagrid in order to compute a running total? The balance of record 1 (first record displayed, the record with oldest date) must be equal to the first money input...

Running total in data grid

Hi, I have a data grid that shows a bank account. Each record has a field for the date, a field for money input or output and a field for the balance. The grid is sorted by date with a call to dispatch "SortDataByKey" to group "myList" with "MEDateFld" , "dateTime" , "ascending" The user can modify ...
