Most people want a real text editor field, the problem is that it might get slower, or buggy with too many features... at least that's what i fear.

Thus i would want this in an additional Object, instead of a modified text field, and I want it in the engine, so to avoid another table field fiasco.

you should have tried: open process "/usr/bin/apphere" for update The documentation is a bit confusing at first but the string at the top of each entry means: open process appName [for [text|binary] {read | write | update | neither}] open process (optional 1) for (optional 2) text or binary (end of ...

when will the cgi's be updated?

As RR seems to have focused a bit back onto cgi's, when will we get a newer release of it, and will it still need these strange files? I mean These who make it impossible to run on most hosts (as the hosts are not incline to put the files on their servers).

Check the "backdrop" property:
You can set the backdrop to an image id, or to a colour of your choice. In the IDE, you can set it to none to get rid of it.

Some nitpicks about the Game Maker

Of course the Game Maker is way too basic for me, but envisioning a user that want's to use this to make the next Myst, I think he would have troubles with these problems: Should be able to load saved games. If I open a stack made with Game Maker it complains about the tools not being open... Twice,...

Less Topics!

I guess i am alone in this, but the many Topics make my head spin, how am I supposed to read what's interesting if it's hidden in so many categories? The current setup makes reading the forum tedious, as Ii need to click on a forum topic, then on the topics i want to read. I also doubt you get that ...
