Re: Screen Not Resizing Properly on iPad

Hi Again, Although I am new to mobile development, I had a problem awhile back with a stack not maintaining the set dimensions (i.e., as set in the property inspector) upon opening of the stack. In the "preOpenStack" handler, I had to put "set the height of this stack to 668" in order for it to size...

Re: Screen Not Resizing Properly on iPad

Howdy,

I have found that using a stack size of 373 x 668 and setting the "fullscreenmode" of the stack to "ShowAll" (in lieu of "LetterBox") results in a decent display on various devices (including iphone, iPad, Kindle Fire HDX, etc.).

Re: Encryption and LiveCode Server?

Hi Neil,

I am actually the one who filed that bug report, but thanks for the followup. In the meantime, I am using the Community version (per another thread in the Commercial forum).

Re: Question about templateImage

Thanks Jacqueline (and Klaus). Per my previous post, I am experimenting with images in an effort to optimize my efforts.

As always, I appreciate the input.

Re: Question about templateImage

Hi Klaus, I am currently experimenting. Anyway, what I meant is that it seems that after you set the properties of the templateImage, you must then create the image object programmatically directly afterwards, and then add your image to the image object for the properties to apply to the said image....

Question about templateImage

Hi All, This might be a dumb question, but here goes... In the dictionary it states: You can use the set command to set the properties of the templateImage before creating an image. The new image has the properties of the templateImage, by default. Changing the properties of the templateImage does n...

Re: [ANN] tmControl2 First Release

Hi Again,

I can't even get to the storefront. The following text is displayed: "The Tactile storefront is currently being rebuilt. Please check back at the end of November."

Thanks,

Re: [ANN] tmControl2 First Release

Hi Scott,

I just tried to download your demo, but the zip file was empty. Also, I can confirm that the ordering part of the site is still not working.

Thanks,

A Solution! AES-128 Encryption between LiveCode and PHP

Hi All, Here is an encryption solution for those of you who might need to implement AES-128 encryption between a LiveCode app and a PHP script. I read the following thread (http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=21055&p=107448&hilit=aes+encrypt#p107448) and found a way to successfully pass a...

Encryption and LiveCode Server?

Hi All, I just installed LiveCode Server under MAMP on my Mac. I noticed that the encrypt command does not work. (It looks my installation is not accessing a required library? libssl? Or what?) Is this standard? How can we enable encryption/security within a self-installation of LiveCode Server? May...

Re: Need an example of encryption between LiveCode and PHP

Hi AxWald,

Thanks for the input. Hashing can be quite useful at times... However, such a scheme does not meet the needs of my current project. :-(

This is an awesome forum. Thanks again.

Need an example of encryption between LiveCode and PHP

Hi All, Would anyone out there be able to provide an example demonstrating the encryption/decryption of text strings between a LiveCode app and a PHP script? I have been playing around with various PHP snippets and a stack using LiveCode's encrypt command, but I just can't seem to sync things up bet...

Re: AES 128 CBC Encryption to PHP Interface

Hi dcpbarrington,

Did you ever get this working? It would be awesome if you could post an example.

Thanks,

- Boo
