[Solved] - Optimize SQLite Database after Deletion?

Hi All, I am currently working on an app with an SQLite database. I am able to add images as blobs without any issues. However, upon removing an image from the database, I notice that the size of the database remains large. Is there a way to optimize (i.e., remove blank space, etc.) an SQLite databa...

Re: Original Image Data: "iphonePickPhoto" and "mobilePickPh

Hi Jacque,
The only way to be sure the team sees feature requests is to enter them into the QCC. They rarely have time to read all the forums.
I have filed several bug requests before, but I wasn't aware that we could (should?) post feature requests there.

Thanks,

- Boo

Re: Original Image Data: "iphonePickPhoto" and "mobilePickPh

That's very discouraging... Very discouraging indeed. It would at least be nice to receive some kind of feedback regarding this issue.

Thanks for the info.

Sincerely,

Original Image Data: "iphonePickPhoto" and "mobilePickPhoto"

Hello, I am requesting that the ability for selecting the original image data of an image (in iOS) be added to the "iphonePickPhoto" and "mobilePickPhoto" commands. As it stands, a copy of the original photo is placed into the "the text of the last image" on iOS, whereas on Android the original imag...

Re: A Scrum Board written in LiveCode!

Hi Guys, Thanks for the kind words--much appreciated. This stack provides an excellent example of just how easy it is create an application with LiveCode. (I put that stack together in a few hours... Imagine what you can do if you spend a few days/weeks working on an app?!) Have fun, and I look forw...

Re: User resizable and movable objects

Hi Craig, I realize that this thread is quite old, but is your "gadget" still available? Regarding using the pointer tool to resize controls, I am testing using a standalone. I am able to select and resize buttons using the pointer tool, but I have a locked text field that I am able to select but ca...

Re: A Scrum Board written in LiveCode!

Hi Ron,

Yeah, I'll try to add that soon. In the meantime, you can just save each project as a separate stack file.

Best,

Re: A Scrum Board written in LiveCode!

Hi All, It was fun to apply my learning from the course into a real-world example. (I am being more consistent now with the naming of variables, the use of organized commands/functions, etc.) Feel free to modify the stack and improve upon it. If I have time, I'll try to implement "drag resizing" of ...

A Scrum Board written in LiveCode!

Hi All, I decided to take a quick "stab" at coding a basic "Scrum Board" in LiveCode. (You'll find the stack attached to this post.) This is a very basic attempt, so please bear with me. Note: I wrote this pretty quickly, so there will obviously be things that could be done more efficiently, etc. Al...

Re: Any LiveCode meetups in the LA/MS Gulf Coast areas?

Hi All, I live in Gulf Breeze, Florida (on the Gulf Coast, right near Pensacola). I am about 4 hours (by car) from New Orleans. Todd: Wonderful news regarding the LiveCode center in New Orleans! Wonderful! Just to let you know, I too am originally from the New Orleans area--Slidell, Louisiana to be ...

Re: Screen Not Resizing Properly on iPad

Hi Phil, I just took a look at your stack. I suspect that the problem is that in your Standalone IOS settings, you have it set to "iPod and iPhone." Try setting it to "iPod, iPhone and iPad." Also, when testing, I set the fullscreenmode to "showall" to keep the proportions of your graphics. Please l...

Re: Screen Not Resizing Properly on iPad

Hi Phil, It might be helpful if you could post a sample stack for folks on the forum to experiment with. A stack with your basic controls in place, and with "orientationChanged," "resizeStack", and other necessary handlers in place to duplicate the issue would be helpful. (Of course, you could first...
