Re: Buliding a C/C++ external for LiveCode 9.01 and Xcode 10

I haven’t messed with externals yet (other than the stuff already in the IDE that is mostly precompiled). It is an area I will look into one day.

Re: Collapse and expand Tree View Widget from code

Yes. I have code close to ready. I’m waiting for a merge PR to get finalized before I submit to be sure it will result in a clean merge. The initial fix will auto-unfold on selection and provide a way to reset the fold state. Being able to collapse individual keys is going to need to wait for anothe...

Re: Scale image proportionally on resizestack

If you want to put a test stack on your device to see how size/orientation changes are impacted by different fullscreenmodes, I've posted a demo: https://milby.us/lc/MobileDemo2.livecode Here's a thread on the list that discusses it: https://www.mail-archive.com/use-livecode@lists.runrev.com/msg9746...

Re: Bug in dictionary browser

Click the clock icon to visualize what is going on. New entry visits are added to the bottom. When you go back, you are just moving up the list. If you branch to another link, it takes you back to the end of the list (indicated by the forward link being disabled). Additionally, if you select a link ...

Re: Running Ubuntu Linux on Virtualbox

I have VMs with both 16 and 18. If not trying to compile from source, then 18 works well. It has been a month (or more) but I was not able to link on 18 when I installed it.

Currently there isn't a way to change the fold state from code.

Re: com.livecode.widget.ColorPicker

Looks like the "onSave" issue was indeed a bug. Fix should show up in 9.0.2rc1

Re: LiveCode Multi-Search

Mac issue? I don’t see it get populated either.

There are spaces in the URL which if removed make it work correctly on my machine. (In the search button script)

Search string should probably be URL Encoded (for spaces mainly). Dictionary code needs to reverse that though.

Re: Table Field not updating correctly

There is code (handlers) to go to the next/previous row/cell (one for each direction). When navigating that way, tabs are automatically inserted. My guess is that something is amiss with the calculation of tabs that need to get inserted when clicking on an arbitrary cell. The location is good in one...

Re: Table Field not updating correctly

Looking at the code, I can see why arrow keys work. Knowing that should make finding a solution easier. I kind of doubt that it is random, I’m guessing there will be a pattern too.

Re: property inspector size issue

Vertical does work after you switch tabs a few times. (Still a bug, but there is a work around). The listed bug report is something that I’ve taken a look at. The proposed logic is pretty much what is used, but for some reason the initial resize permission isn’t getting set correctly (there is a set...
