Re: Standalone picture taking

Hi @richmond62, sorry for bother you again but can't get the stack to work on iOS (using the simulator)...

Have you tried it? Does it work for you? I guess I'm missing something.

To be more precise I would like to save the taken picture to the photo album.

Thanks for any help

Standalone picture taking

Hi, I would like to develop what I think is a simple stack but not sure it if is possible. What I want to accomplish is basically to take a picture, without user intervention , at given time intervals. I guess using local notification will perfectly deal with the Time Intervals aspect but I can't fi...

Re: Accessing Contacts (AddressBook) & Calendar

it is now August 2016 and it seems there is not Calendar functionality available yet in LC. Unbelievable!!!!

I really don't understand it, and LC team doesn't seem to care about the lack of this very key feature...

Such a great product missing something so important.

Re: iCalendar Open Source Lib for LiveCode

Trevix, many thanks for your answer / suggestion. Yours is a smart approach but wouldn't work in my case because I'm developing a commercial App and I can't enforce the user to have a Google account. I'm having a hard time to digest the fact that Livecode does not have this basic functionality...Too...

Re: iCalendar Open Source Lib for LiveCode

Hi team, anybody know what happened with this project?

Was it accomplished? Where can I find the documentation?

I´m desperate to find a way to add events to the mobile calendar (both iOS and Android) and this would definitely help.

Any other suggestions are also welcomed.

Thanks

LC site slow access

I have an stable ADSL 15M link and can successfully navigate all kind of sites, but when it comes to Livecode (lessons.livecode and / or forums.livecode) it becomes extremely slow. Giving "can reach the server" error quite frequently. It is extremely frustrating and decreases my (already low) progra...

Re: Adding a calendar event (mobile)

Thanks Craig, my request is a simple one:

Command to add an entry on the device (iOS or Android) calendar.

Something similar to "mobileAddContact" for the calendar

Will add to "Feature Requests" as you said.

Re: Adding a calendar event (mobile)

Due to the lack of answer I'm assuming there is no way to achieve what I'm looking for (be able to add an appointment on the device calendar from a LC script). As I consider this feature could be quite useful I wonder if there is a way to add a request for future releases of LC. Anybody nows how to ...

Adding a calendar event (mobile)

I've seen a few posts about this subject but wasn't able to reach a solid conclusion so here it goes again:

Is is possible (how?) to add a calendar event from within a LC script? Ideally in both platforms iOS & Android.

Thanks
