Re: Reading Push Notifications

Thanks again Mikey... One other thing to remember, because sooner or later this will bite you: On iOS, the pushID of the device WILL change periodically ... Great hint, I'd never had guessed it. Starting with your P.S., I don't know the mechanics of it. It might be that LC can't do anything more tha...

Re: mobilePickPhoto no select button on the preview picture

Hi Saman, were you able to fix this? How?

I'm facing exactly the same problem with an App generated with LC 9.0.4 on a Samsung 6j running Android 9.0.

Help needed!

Thanks

Re: Reading Push Notifications

Hi Mikey, many thanks for your useful answer. Still confused about a few things: 1. Correct. Use iphoneNotificationBadgeValue() to determine if you have an unhandled push notification (of course when you push, you would need to set the value, then, too). I can easily check if the Badge > 0 but I don...

Reading Push Notifications

Hi, after several tries I got Push Notifications working on both Android & iOS but I have some doubts / questions regarding the behaviour on both platforms which I'm not sure if it is: to be expected a bug an undocumented difference between the platforms my lack of knowledge My App is just one comma...

Re: MobilpickPhoto is suddenly failing.

David, have you tried with LC 9.0.4 instead of 9.5.0? I mean 9.5.0 is in Development Preview while 9.0.4 is Stable... Also I'd like to mention that I had several problems with mobilePickPhoto but most of them where in Android, one of the them ( https://quality.livecode.com/show_bug.cgi?id=22055 ) ha...

Firebase notifications & iOS

Without much trouble I have been able to use Google's Firebase notification service to send push notifications to Android following this lesson http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4069/l/59312-how-do-i-use-push-notifications-with-android Since Firebase also supports iOS ( https://firebase.google.com/docs/...

Another annoying message from Apple

Just sharing... As of last week I started to receive the following message when uploading a new release to the Apple Store: ITMS-90339: Deprecated Info.plist Key - The Info.plist contains a key 'UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend' in bundle myAppName [myAppName.app] that will soon be unsupported. Remove th...

Re: How "ca-bundle.crt" ended up in my documents folder?

Thanks Jacque, as a matter of fact I'm signing the app with my own key in Android and that would explain why it doesn't appear on iOS.

Mystery solved...

Saludos!

How "ca-bundle.crt" ended up in my documents folder?

Hi all, I have this App that temporarily stores files on the mobile specialFolderPath("documents") looking at its contents (when dealing with a customer problem) I found there is a file in Android called "ca-bundle.crt" that doesn't appear on iOS. Question #1: Where does it come from? Question #2: W...

Re: Mobile Support Invalid IOS SDK / Android SDK

I have two remarks: 1 - You should be working with LC 9.0.3 instead of LC 8.1.9. 2 - According to your screenshot instead of Xcode 10.1 you have Xcode 9.2 Screen Shot 2019-05-15 at 09.34.27.png Moreover, about: when will Livecode be compatible with IOS Mohave I can assure LC 9.0.3 is compatible with...

I've submitted Apps to the Apple store (after March) and were approved.

I'd suggest that you give a try

What version of LC are you using? LC 9.0.4 rc 2 is supposed to fix this issue. It did for me...

Hope it helps.
