Re: Beta Entitlement

I was just about to post about this issue and saw your post. The internet mentions editing the plist to get this to work. But can you elaborate on what tick box you selected? and what version you are using? As when I tried to upload to itunesconnect this week I still get the "Missing Beta Entitlemen...

Re: Advertising on Android

Thanks Andy,

I will try this option out on one of my projects. This is a good work around as I hear no more support for iAds as Apple will be dropping it soon. So this solution will work on both platforms. So thanks again. Maybe a sticky if you ask me.

Re: Fastest way to check if var contains numbers

Hmmm… regex should work… put "2,3,4" into t filter t with "*[0-9]*" -- this command looks for any of the 10 digits. if there is at least one digit in t, the filter will let it thru if t <> "" then -- yes, the variable t does contain at least one digit answer "yes" else -- no, the variable t doesn't...

Re: wait with Key speed

I would need to hear some more of what you are trying to achieve. As I am not sure. But from what you have said the word/text would need to be checked against another word/text after 1 second If the word/text is not complete after 1 second then use runfile after each text. Is that correct? maybe try...

Re: Fastest way to check if var contains numbers

If so you, I think you would have to loop through the items to apply the test to each. That's what I was thinking. Just thought there was a quicker way. example - if the var contained nof3s would be true. if var contained nofs would be false Just was thinking why the "contain" can not be used. Anyw...

Fastest way to check if var contains numbers

Hi all, I was using some expressions in livecode and thought I could use this expression to solve a simple problem to check if there is a number in a var. put "2,3,4" into t if 1 or 2 or 3 is in t then --works but convoluted answer "yes" end if put item 1 into x --works but is there a faster way to ...

Re: Routines for very large numbers.

breakpoint repeat while (bigGreater(a1,a2)) put bigSub(a1,a2) into a1 put bigAdd(1,count) into count wait 0 milliseconds with messages end repeat Thanks MaxV. Addling the with 0 milliseconds stops the GUI freeze up. But the time taken to process the sum is not efficient as MaxV said. Maybe some chu...

Re: Routines for very large numbers.

I have been testing the routines over the last couple days and all but one appear to work as expected. The function in question is "BigDivide" Can someone confirm that if you do. put bigDivide(99999999,10) into t answer t LC stops responding or crashes. This does not happen on every calculation only...

MaxV has decided to save me some time and stress  and has converted some Rebol functions. Special thanks for the time and effort to help me and the LC community to all involved.

Re: Routines for very large numbers.

In a new thread ("longAdd and longMult") in the "Talking LiveCode" section, I posted two functions that will add or multiply two integers of any length. Now the task of subtraction and division. Ugh. Craig Newman Hi there, I have started a subtraction routine based on your add. But not sure I have ...
