Thanks Frazier,
Do you need details added to the new bug report, or do you know what the issues are?

7.0 DP4 continued problems in RTL strings containing tabs

My earlier bug report http://quality.runrev.com/show_bug.cgi?id=12177 was marked resolved as of DP4. However there are still problems in right-to-left text containing tabs. See the stack at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vav0cb0kwf61zgs/rtl_tab_bug.livecode If you leave the field unlocked and click the ...

Re: Launch Stack Issue

Jpyck contacted me off list and I think we may have discovered the problem. Many of the stacks that are launched by LCU were created when LiveCode was still called Revolution (the name change happened in 2010.) At that time LiveCode stack files were saved using a .rev file extension instead of the c...

Re: Launch Stack Issue

Windows 8 you say? Anybody see that on other platforms? (I have OSX and Win 7 here.) Regardless, I'll check it out.

Re: Reset Password?

Torsten,

Are you having trouble with your user login password, or is it asking for your registration code again, but not accepting it?

If it is the first one, see this FAQ: http://lcu.byu.edu/help/lcu_faq.lc#Q14 on how to reset your password.

Regards,

Re: LCU v. 1.3.3 Released

Update: It seems I jumped the gun a bit. I have provided the download links for the new version to RunRev, but I don't know (in fact rather doubt) that they have updated the public download links on their servers yet. Give it a day or two for them to get it onto their server; I'll repost here when I...

Re: LCU 1.3.2 still buggy!

Hi keram, But I updated 2-3 times in the past with the offline file and so the content should have been newer than in the master db, shouldn't it? So, that was actually part of the problem. You see, when you do the offline update, you are downloading the newest copy of the full, local (sqlite) datab...

Re: LCU problems

Josh, Sorry to hear about all the problems you're having. From your screen shot it looks like you are having problems getting content updates from the master content database. Were the other problems similar? Here is how LCU's content data stores work: there is a local database that contains all of ...

Re: LCU 1.3.2 still buggy!

keram, I think I have found the cause of one of these issues. The content updates are based on date-time stamps in the LCU online content database, as compared against the date-time stamps in the local user database. If the DT stamp for the content resources on the online database is newer than the ...

Re: Unicode problem in text field on Univesity stack

Park, Glad to hear that it's working properly on your Mac. I went back and checked my source texts, and reminded myself that the characters that are not rendering properly for you are actually stored as HTML entities, not as unicode. So it makes me wonder if there might be some problems with LiveCod...

Re: Unicode problem in text field on Univesity stack

Yes, you're right, it does look like a unicode rendering problem. Odd, because I store the lesson text as UTF-8. I wonder if the font is mapping incorrectly. It shouldn't be a problem, because LCU uses a font that ships with it and loads dynamically on startup. The incorrect characters appear where ...
