Re: Latency on playing sounds to external bluetooth speaker

Hi Trevix,

Why you're not testing playing your sound with another music app, but not LC ?

If this sound is played perfectly on the same device over bluetooth
then you'll have some useful information...

My 2 cents,

Re: Finding folder/files in the application folder

Your experience seems really important for those of us who create macOS standalones. (I'm assuming that your broken apps were written in LC.) Perhaps you've reported on this elsewhere Hi Jeff, Well, I think you're overestimating my knowledge in this area. In fact, I've put aside my development, wai...

Re: Finding folder/files in the application folder

In response to bogs' worthy suggestion to try employing the specialFolderPath function, as far as I can tell there is no advantage over the code snippet about finding the path to the folder containing a standalone. Hi Jeff, I am with you on this one; spicyFolderPath() is just syntaxic sugar; handy ...

Although, I don't think the project Thierry was working on works on that principle Hi Sir, You're right; it's a different thinking. Actually quite the opposite of old technics. The main idea is to have a tiny "script oriented IDE" - not sure if it's the best English definition :) because that's whe...

Re: Problem reading .plist file inside app package

@hermann It looks like on Mojave, your sips parameters are not working; at least on my Mac. So, here is my attempt on this and tested. As we are using an external app, I let it to resize the image too. -- put "/Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Resources/compass.icns" into fIN put "/Applications/Text...

Hi Hermann,

I find interesting your approach and this pushes me
doing the same exercise but using my sunnYrex library.
Here is what I've done in 15 minutes:

Hi, and for those having arthritis in their fingers: on mouseUp put fld "noCR" into tText put replaceText(tText, "\s*\n\s*", space) into tText put replaceText(tText, "\.\s*", "." &cr) end mouseUp Almost the same result as Klaus solution. I let the reader find the difference... Regards, Thierry
