Jacque, Thanks for the responses! So, for 1), is this "highest level control" the control with the highest numbered Layer? I'll look into it. And for 2), I kind of expected as much, unfortunately... Looks like we're using different versions, then. Yours looks to be newer.

I am not using an RC version. I'll ignore it as a 7.1 bug that has been fixed, and will either update or work around it.
