Re: Gif animation runs slow on android only
It seems to still be an issue. Any word on the bug report for this?

Re: How did I lock myself out of the standalone app settings
Found out my license somehow changed itself... emailing support to change the license back was the fix.

How did I lock myself out of the standalone app settings?
I seem to have locked myself out of the standalone application settings. I have never seen this before. When I open the panel, I am unable to click on any of the tabs except bug reports, general ,stacks, and copy files. So this basically means i am locked from deploying to any platform. Did i piss of...

How to dynamically build a datagrid table
Hello, it has been a while since i used the datagrid and had a simple question about datagrid tables. Maybe it is so simple, that I couldnt find any other threads on it so I decided to ask. If I were to query a database and pull out tables X, Y, and Z. And say I had a template for each X Y and Z and...

LiveCode Community project = Education Industry API
Today I would like to announce that we are going to be setting up a meeting on Thursday, October 6th, 9am PST to talk about how we can create an integration between LiveCode and the standardized eLearning compatibility systems such as xAPI, TinCan, LTI etc. The goal of this project is to allow LiveC...

Re: LC 8 Browser Widget Rect
I changed to LC 8 RC 1 and it works fine now.
Try just upgrade to the latest version of LiveCode and it should work.

Re: New blur command in LiveCode (Does it work?)
Thank you for testing that Klaus and Richard! Well when I looked in the engine build folder there was a .dll file called blur which means to me that some blur effect is supposed to happen on windows. It also has a mac file included with Trevor's name in the notes. And that is it. I believe that Scot...

New blur command in LiveCode (Does it work?)
So if you look at LC 8 RC 1 you will see that they added a new command called "blur", used to blur an image. I think this is super cool. However when i call the command it says that it cannot be found. So my question is, am i not doing something i am supposed to? Am I using the wrong platform (Im us...

Re: Easy way to integrate iOS and Android SDKs
Thanks for doing that Richard. Yeah, Andre just happened to use the HTTP requests rather than the SDK itself which offers a wide range of functionality beyond the HTTP. Andres facebook stack is very useful for understanding how to integrate HTTP APIs. And now we are trying to kick it up a notch with...

Easy way to integrate iOS and Android SDKs
So I understand that LCB can interface with C and C handlers can be written to interface with native SDKs. So is there a cookie cutter solution to getting something like the Facebook iOS SDK to interface with LiveCode? I don't want to learn why or how it works, I just want to know where I create the...

Re: Keep stack from moving when keyboard is activated
Yeah, accelerated rendering i thought was not on unless you said to previously, and I don't know why accelerated rendering would cause the entire stack to move up. Is that an android feature or is that a liveCode feature? Please pray to god, liveCode didn't implement that. But yeah, I could imagine ...
