rIDE 2.0

With version 2.0 rIDE leaves the playground and enters the route to be an independent and high performance IDE for LiveCode. The searching, filtering and navigating routines has been undergoing optimizations to further increase speed and responsiveness. Dependencies have been reduced as rIDE now car...

Re: user notifications

Hi Monte! I'm all for this initiative and I cast my vote for a separate plugin that we can all use. Using lcVCS as project delivery system sounds great to me! I would also like to use the plugin as a notification/update system in rIDE as an alternative IDE. Your feature suggestions look good as a st...

Re: Start of a date handling library

Malte!

This is really really nice! A very elegant function! Can't wait for the rest of the fruit party!

I will build a calendar widget now using rGrid and integrate it into rIDE.

Thanks again for your fine work!

Re: Start of a date handling library

Malte! Sorry, seems I did not think it through! I'll make another try! My thought initially was that you give a date as parameters in the format: libDate_weekDates (tYear,tMonth,tDay) I will now, almost magically change my mind. What I want is this: function libDate_weekDates pYear,pWeekNumber We ca...

Re: Start of a date handling library

Hi Malte! A week can cover the end of one month and the start of next and even the end of a year and start of the next. So I think it would good to have the results of a weekDates function as a list with one date per line and each date complete with Year, Month and Day, comma separated. Year four di...

Re: Start of a date handling library

Hi Malte!

I would love to have a weekDates function, returning the dates of a week. It would simplify building a month view a great deal.

Thanks again for this fine lib!

Best

Re: [ANN] rIDE official release

That's really cool Klaus! :-) I really would love if we could get lots of discussing of the features and improvements of rIDE. IMHO I think there is a good chance of having a fast developing modern IDE framework if we the LiveCode users/developers set some creativity free. I'd like too see rIDE as a...

Re: the rIDE

Hi Dave! Thanks for reporting! I looked at the "can't find the stack" issue and the stack is actually deleted by another handler before the "delete stack ..." line. So that line can just be taken out. As for the details of an deleted stack being remembered and causing an error, I have not been able ...

Re: the rIDE

Unfortunately 6 is a no-go for me currently; i'm developing an iOS app so i need the already purchased 5.5 version. First need to make some money with the app before i will go v.6 ;-) It's a shame because for my app i really use the application browser all-day long and it is working but your soluti...
