Search "COM1:" in the dictionary. Is that what you're looking for?

Re: LiveCode 4.6 released
It would seem that a good policy would be to indicate, in the store at the time of purchase, that the purchase price includes updates for 3 months or 6 months (whatever the policy is). That way there would be no complaints as everyone would understand what they are getting into. There was a 90 day ...

Re: can't edit cell in stand alone app
And why do you people use the small letter 't' or 'p' in front of the Filename (or others)? Why use capital letters like in 'acceptDrop' or maybe 'AcceptDrop'?? :| Sigh..... The lowercase t in front just helps you to remember what you're using the variable for ("t" is for temporary). It's not requi...

Set your font to segoeUI 12pt for Vista and 7. I believe the the default UI font in XP is Tahoma. I had the same jaggy issues when compiling for windows using Arial.

Re: Formatting an input field
Thanks BvG, I'll check it out later tonight hopefully.
The fields will be entered by keyboard.
Three fields that look like one would be fine. How do I do that?

Re: Formatting an input field
There is only one input at a time, it just needs to accept both formats. I am using this to store product codes in a database and and just trying to reduce human error as much as possible. The product codes use only the two formats mentioned above, so that is what I would like to restrict the entry ...

Formatting an input field
I need to restrict the input of a field to a certain format but am having a difficult time thinking of how it should be done. The input field needs to accept two formats: 99 XX 99999 or 99 X 99999 The first two digit number, the middle letter/s and the last five digit number each need stored in sepa...

Re: openStack problem on 4.5.2 substack
This behavior is actually documented somewhere, but I cant remember if it's in the user guide or a lesson.kwinkler wrote:The same thing holds for the openStack message.....it must be trapped by the substack or it will be passed along to the main stack.

Re: How to install on Ubuntu?
I had the same problems when installing on Ubuntu 10.04.
Seems the problem was happening when I unzipped via the GUI.
I started over and unzipped and installed via the terminal and it worked fine.
So unzip using the terminal ONLY.
