I had the same problem when upgrading Rev 4.0 to LC 4.5.
I ended up uninstalling Rev completely, then used CCleaner to clean the registry associations and then reinstalled LC. Success!

PrtScn key and rawKeyDown
Hey all,
rawKeyDown does not seem to capture the PrtScn key (65377) but rawKeyUp does.
Is this intentional or a bug?

Re: GPS data
The short answer: If your GPS device is NMEA compliant like the Globalsat BU 353, then it transmits serial data via usb. LC can read data from a serial device, so it would just be up to you to parse and display. Perhaps if necessary, someone more knowledgeable than I could give you a more detailed a...

surfbored, Don't let Apple get you down too much! When making your decision, you should check things like this recent blog post from the Rev guys. http://www.runrev.com/company/runrev-blog/smarphone-sales-to-surpass-1-billion-units-in-2015 It looks as if Android and WinMobile are predicted to domina...

Technically, it's not "legal" to develop iOS apps on anything but a Mac.surfbored wrote:I'm looking for a good way to program for the iPad using the Windows platform (I don't own a MAC).

Re: Upload Files to S3 or Cloud Files
derr1ck,
No experience with s3 or the cloud, but you might be able to start by watching the presentation by Chris (http://forums.runrev.com/viewtopic.php? ... 907#p31405) and then looking at the s3 REST API Documentation (http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AmazonS3/latest/API/

Re: driverNames in windows
The fact that the code reported back that many open ports is at least a good indication that LC supports more than the documented 1 thru 9!mhoneywill wrote:although it reported 14 more comm ports than I expected.
Also, thanks for the link!

Re: driverNames in windows
If not, I suppose I could use a brute force method; trying "open driver" on every COM port and examining the result. But I don't know how many possible COM ports there are. LiveCode's library gives conflicting info. A windows PC can support 256 serial connections, but I'd assume LC only will handle...

Maybe if each button was it's own stack windowshaped as the button, set to be always on top. However, maybe I'm thinking too far out of the box for what you are trying to accomplish.
