Moving/Reposition Window pauses script
I'm trying to understand why a certain behavior happens on a toplevel stack. If I have an animation process running (move object from p1to p20) and reposition or move the window to another part of my screen, the process going on will stop until I release the mouse. So for example, I have a moving ob...

Re: Old app Now Broke in Catalina
Thanks. I've googled these semi-secret ways but none seemed to help. I welcome any semi-secret tips. I have not tried appWrappper but I can try.

Re: Old app Now Broke in Catalina
I have a Mac but I'm scared to update. It's still on High Sierra. I suspected it is a Catalina security requirement I've been hearing about.

Re: Old app Now Broke in Catalina
I looked over the thread and it seemed more of a rant about someone's dislikes with LC. A useful suggestion in the thread was to try and set the executable bit permission on the executable file within the bundle. Would I be able to do that from a windows PC anyway and then zip up the file and distri...

Old app Now Broke in Catalina
I'm sure this is explained in places but I couldn't find specific answers so I will go forward with the question. I have an older program I developed for MacOS & Windows. It has worked fine until Catalina and now my users can not run the program if they have updated their Mac. All work arounds seem ...

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
Ok, but how would that be accomplished with a graphic object/drawing object vs. an image object? Basically, like on the sample stack, its just a round graphic object.

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
Its been a few months since I posted this original question. I haven't seen any updates or developments on the bug report so I'm guessing this is not a priority or there's no workable solution? I can't believe I'm the only one in the world that sees this as a major flaw in LC? Is there no way to fix...

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
I added a comment to an existing bug report I found. Maybe that will help.

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
Can you post the stack, or a test stack that shows the same behavior? Craig See attached. It's not pretty but it demonstrates what I'm seeing when I move objects. Adjusting the speed produces an even greater effect. Maybe I'm missing something huge. I appreciate all the help. I just can't believe I...

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
If you add the graphic effect "drop shadow" or "outer glow" to the circle vector graphic, then the clipping effect is not visible anymore. Please try adding these effects and post your results. Could you try this with Older LC versions too? LC 9.0 and 8.1.10 show this bug in my own setup. Al There ...

Maybe this picture will explain more than words. I just took a picture with my phone of the object moving on my screen.

Re: distorted graphics when using move or set loc
Hi I would suggest it's the driver. If it works on some machines and not others. ...... Lagi Wish that was the fix but unfortunately that doesn't do a thing. I updated to the latest greatest drivers but experienced no improvement. My system is an HP laptop running an Intel 5200 chipset. Slowing mov...
