That should do, as I assume it is probably a version of the LiveCode series that is being used if not 9.x.

You will not find it anymore in the LC 9 dictionary.
But, on the other hand, one doesn't know which version of LiveCode AlessioForconi is using.

Would it be possible for the end-user (i.e. someone using a standalone) to save recorded sounds in some way?

This could open the way to a whole slew of language learning applications as well as stuff for linguistics field-work.

In my snapshot above the first field does NOT have its text selected,
while in the second field the text IS selected.

setting the shadow color and the fill color doesn't seem to make any observable difference whatsoever.
