Re: Meeting: Dec. 1 in Pasadena

Dang! I have school Thursday nights. Well...at least my Final is Dec 01 so I won't be able to attend this meeting. Then school will start up again and Thurs nights are taken starting in Feb.

Re: Glendale Meetup

OK, I'll have to work on that then. Somewhere in Monrovia probably if the San Gabriel Valley is good for you?

What happened to the old meeting place?

Still using RunRev Studio here! So now that the months have passed how has the upgrade worked out for you?

Re: LiveCode

I realize that LiveCode is basically a name change I think it more like a 50/50 split with name change/pricing structure. I really don't see the benefit for getting the upgrade unless you wanted to get into mobile, which is NEW. For me the current version and structure fits a lot better than upgrad...

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of choices out there and I had to dig to find this old book.

Re: LiveCode

Actually, I'm trying to determine what, exactly, the cost of "upgrade" will be. I'm an enterprise user, as well as a founder of OnRev - however, the site isn't very cooperative with my login and fails to recognize my past purchases... I hear you. I don't have any past purchases listed either and I ...

Re: Limited Liability Partnerships and the EULA

It appears that Runtime Revolution is not publicly owned. Perhaps this might shed some light it: Mirye Software Publishing is a leading developer and title publisher of cross-platform titles for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. Mirye specializes in cross-platform digital creation and development tools ...

Re: LiveCode

While 'forgetting' might work for Wolfgang, it doesn't work across the board. As a wise person once said, "remember the source." This is coming from a third party plug-in developer who's income is directly related to the continued user base. If this product declines so does the number of sales in t...

Re: SoCal Rev User Group meeting: Thursday, August 19th

Sounds like fun. I have a meeting conflict though with another meeting this Thursday but so far I haven't head anything so I just may be free to attend.

I went the Yahoo Groups but I still didn't see any directions or an address listed.

Re: LiveCode

Yep, too expensive for my tastes. I thought what they really needed to do was concentrate on getting users up and running in their program through producing tutorials and training. In this economic decline hard decisions need to be made and while I am new to RunRev I still have found no decent train...

Re: Will RunRev be Allowed for iPhone/iPad?

So, Revmobile is back on track again! Glad to hear, but I hope runev also check their competition on their current price policy. Corona $99 / year, GameSalad $99 / year (dropped from $499 / year). For a casual developer $799 is out of reach even though it is a one time cost, but with a subscription...
