Re: Make a drop down menu in a spreadsheet

Hi Paul,

Thankyou so much for the speedy reply!

I was afraid that it was asking for the moon!
:)

The list for the drop down menu is already with admin.
So I think they can sort the drop down menus themselves!

Thankyou again for the help.
All the best,
Jessamy.

Make a drop down menu in a spreadsheet

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all safe and not being blown away by hurricanes or flooded. If you are, our prayers are with you! I am currently writing an app that collects data and the data is then emailed to the admin. Once there, it can be imported into Excel or Libre Office. That is all working fin...

Re: Certificate has an invalid issuer - error

Hi Everyone, I solved it!! Here is what to do... First, in keychain, delete any certificates that come up as invalid. Then, on all the others, select one. In the menu bar above, choose File/get info. A box appears. Click on the triangle next to the word trust. In the top field, choose "always trust"...

Re: Certificate has an invalid issuer - error

Hi Tom, I have exactly the same error. This started yesterday afternoon! I have revoked and replaced all my certificates and provisioning profiles. I still get the same error! So I am stuck now, no testing on the device is possible. I rang apple support and they just emailed me, suggesting I read th...

Thankyou both so much!
I managed to work it out with your help!
Hurrah, another mystery solved!

I do so love solving problems, even if I almost ran out of hair to pull out.

Thanks again!

Re: Saving data on closing app

Hi again, I forgot to ask, what is the syntax when you want to put a variable into a database? For example, in the line below I want to put in a variable called tfish instead of Angelfish.png. I have tried countless combinations.... (Tearing hair out...) put "INSERT into travel VALUES ('1','Angelfis...

Re: Saving data on closing app

Hi Joel and Klaus, Thankyou so much for your help. My request was very badly written. I can write and read from a database in documents. But Apple wanted the databases kept in a content folder. Then it gets copied from engine to cache in the iPhone. I am not sure how to write to the database there. ...

Saving data on closing app

Hi Ender and everyone! I should say Happy New Year - sorry it is a bit late! I have a problem - I am doing something silly as usual! Please help me, you are all so good at that! I have an sqlite database and I can read from it with no problem. But I can't remember how to write to it. The database is...

Re: Stolen apps, be careful!

Thankyou Jacque!

It is reassuring to read your message.
I had no idea these sites existed!

The first site removed my apps so that was good.

All the best,
Jessamy

Stolen apps, be careful!

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to warn you all about something that happened to me. I occasionally do a Google search for my apps. On this occasion about three weeks ago, I searched for my app called Treat Yourself - Solfeggio. One of the results came up as Free App Treat Yourself Solfeggio, with xyz at...

Re: Help with simple sound button

Dear Tom,

You are welcome!
This is a half built one!
But I hope you will follow it.

If not, get back to me and I will simplify it.

Bear in mind that I am a beginner!

All the best,
Jessamy

Re: Help with simple sound button

Dear Tom, I have attached a zip file with a simple program that uses sound files for you. You must copy the folder "sounds" to desktop. Then, the program should run on a mac. In the content folder are the sounds to run on an iPhone or iPad. You will need to change the setting in application settings...

Re: Saving sounds

Dear Ender,

Thankyou so much for the trouble you have gone to!

It is much appreciated!

Four lines of code are worth four pages of explanations!!

I will look at it now. :)

Wishing you and all the team a very Merry Xmas and a brill 2015!!

Best wishes,
Jessamy
