Re: tsNetSmtpSync

Hi Klaus, Thanks for your reply. I had come across that but could make something work. However, looking back at the sample stack mentioned here: http://lessons.livecode.com/m/4071/l/685661-how-to-send-e-mail-using-the-tsnet-external If I put something like this: put "From: Me <me@mydomain.com>" & cr...

tsNetSmtpSync

Hi, I have the tsNetSmtpSync command working in that it sends emails fine. What I do get is that the arriving email show "undisclosed-recipients" instead of the recipients email address. Is there a way to have the recipients email address showing? Secondly, how can you add a subject line? Many thank...

Re: Help setting up an emulator for the Test Button LiveCode 7.1

Livecode 9 and Android Studio 3.1.4 here and same issue on macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Keep getting:

INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS

I have two emulators configured on Android 6.0 Marshmallow x86 but can not get this to work.

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks,

Coomunity Plus

Hi, Up until recently I had an Indy license, but let it lapse as I don't get enough work through for Livecode at the moment to justify the cost unfortunately. Anyway, of course as soon as I let it expire I have a request to perform a small update to a previous project. As this makes use of the camer...

Re: fullscreenmode in latest build

Hi Lagi, I did a reset of the Surface 3. Settings > Update and Security > Recovery > Reset this PC The system was due a refresh after almost a year of running as a kiosk. But that made a setting in Settings > System > Display default back to "Change the size of text, apps and other items: 150%". Tur...

Re: fullscreenmode in latest build

Hi,

As part of the modifications I had to make, I did a reset/reinstall of the system which resulted in the display setting defaulting back to displaying everything at 150%.

Forgotten about that...

So there you go, in case you have a similar problem.

fullscreenmode in latest build

Hi, Last year I made a kiosk app for a Win10 Surface 3 tablet. Works fine but needs some modifications now and I ran into an issue with fullscreenmode. The build from last year works as expected, fullscreen of the stack to true and fullscreenmode to showAll. Now, using 8.1.3 [after I ran into the pr...

Re: Video player and windows

Hi Klaus, Thanks for your reply. Indeed I saw the post before but didn't help me. What seems to happen is that the player is very erratic when dynamically setting the video. Sometimes it works others it doesn't. I've tried 1 player on a card, click button on main menu, put the video name in a global...

Oh! Very good.

Two solutions now. Will have to have a look at yours and give it a try. Probably more elegant than my slightly more brute force?

Re: Standalone apps on Pi

Hi Richard,

Thank you for your reply.

What about standalones created on Mac or PC for Linux. Will they run on Pi? That would be my main interest, to develop on those platforms and run apps on the Pi.

Standalone apps on Pi

Hi,

Every now and then I get the urge to buy a Pi to play with, now is one of these moments again.

Just wondering if standalone apps created with LC run ok under Linux on the Pi?
