Re: Foreign Function Interface (FFI) Documentation for Java
Thanks bogs, I had read but forgot to provide a link to that great resource. The post does a great job of explaining interaction with a sticky intent. I was hoping to find examples using a broadcast receiver and a content observer within a content resolver. That said I'm making some progress. Kind r...

Hello all, I am just trying to locate within the LC eco-system some more documentation on using the FFI with Java for Android Development. I believe the functionality is delivered in LC 9. The resources I have found on the topic so far: Using Infinite Livecode For Android to Create Native Controls a...

Re: Help setting up an emulator for the Test Button LiveCode 7.1
Hello Monox18,
I am having the same problem and have escalated to LC support. I will share the response when received.
I just wanted to confirm which version of Android Studio you are using. (I'm using 3.1).
Kind regards, Andrew

In App Billing - Error Dialog - When Testing On Device
Hello all, I am using LC7.0.3 to create an Android Standalone. I do not require in app billing for my app. In the Standalone Application Settings > Android, I have 'In App Purchasing' unchecked (switched off). Re: Put URL (Data Format)
Thanks Simon,
Solved it, the web service was outputting headers which LC was not handling.
Changed the headers and the data is flowing again.
Kind regards, Andrew

Put URL (Data Format)
Hello all, Returning to LiveCode development after a long break. Using 6.6.2: Using a local web server to test retrieving data from a remote MSSQL server. Hitting the link directly in Chrome returns the data as plain text. All good. The following code used to return readable text in the field fldCus...

Re: Registration?
Hello richardmac,
The key usually displays next to the image of the MobGUI box.
The key may take 24 hours or so after purchase to display. I remember there was a small delay after purchase.
Just in case I would send a follow up to LiveCode support: support@runrev.com.
Kind regards, Andrew

Re: Curious Case of the Invisible Native iOS Text Fields
Partially solved... The curious case of the invisible iosUITextFields has been partially solved by running MobGUI recovery which fixed the visibility issue. Whether the fault of some corruption or not handled by the MobGUI recovery is the fact that once recovered there were no entries for the fields...

Re: Focus in Focus
Hello pthirkell, Perhaps I should have said: What is the preferred way to programmatically focus on MobGUI native iOS controls, like the Text Field? I want the focus to be on a particular MobGui generated native iOS field when the card opens, so that the user is not forced to touch the field to atta...

Hello Forum, Background: iPad app, single stack, two cards (one for settings, another for game UI and logic), latest versions of all software components. 1. in the IDE: When I navigate from the 'settings' card to the 'game' card, the two MobGUI native iOS text fields are visible [expected]. 2. in th...
