All right, Thanks… (still stuck with my problem but I made a fresh copy of both my stacks and started it all again, and it works…)

Re: 'Stacks' pane of the Standalone App Settings is dimmed
@Klaus via the "Add file..." tab in the STAB I don't understand: I can't find an "Add file..." tab; in the what? (don't know who I should stab !) And what's the code below going to do? I already have this kind of code in my scripts but I don't see how it's supposed to add stack B to a runtime… start...

'Stacks' pane of the Standalone App Settings is dimmed
Hi, I'm trying to build a standalone for a stack A. In development mode, stack A uses stack B, C, D. C and D are just faceless, scripts stacks (not script-only stacks). Works fine. When I try to build a standalone for B, the 'Stacks' pane of the Standalone App Settings mentions B, C and D. But when ...

Re: Tree view question
(cont'd)
I want to associate data to the nodes (like '2). Did I miss something? or is it impossible with the widget Tree View? meaning I would have to design my own solution with a field.

Tree view question
Hi, I'm using a Tree View control to display a tree structure but I'm running into a problem: data can be associated with tree 'leaves' but [apparently] not to tree 'nodes'. Just to make myself clear: put "1" into p["first label"] put "2" into p["second label"] put "2.1" into p["second label"]["firs...

Re: Correspondence macOS livecode Xcode versions
It is. 'bonjour', 'bonsoir' (soir and jour are masculine words), but 'bonne journée', 'bonne soirée', 'bonne nuit' (as journée, soirée, nuit are feminine words). Adjectives agree in gender [and number] with the noun. So, 'bonne' must be feminine too. You can't put these in one single word ('bonnesoi...

Re: Correspondence macOS livecode Xcode versions
Thank you! I seemed to remember there was a web page about the versions… Better this way !
<aside> Maybe you already know this, in which case I don't want to appear pedantic but… in French 'bonjour' is written as one word; anyway it does mean 'good day' </aside>

Re: Save web page as PDF?
As the title says: I want to
save a web page as pdf.
I know I can save a card as a pdf.
But the web page is way longer (and wider) than my stack.

Save web page as PDF?
Hi,
How can I download a web page, as it appears in a browser, as PDF for archival?
I mean of course I can dload the web page but then I get HTML code. And apparently, I can save only cards to PDF (if I read the doc correctly).
Any idea?

Quotes in constants - tell me I'm wrong …
Hi, I'm parsing HTML and I've got several strings that act as patterns, like put "</table" into laCleFinTable of course this could be a constant; actually, it should be a constant: constant laCleFinTable = "</table" But I have also put "<table class=""e&"table table2""e&" id=""e&"partant...

Re: Get a provisioning profile for iOS standalone
I found this post on stackoverflow Just to explain a bit more, the development provisioning profile is for testing your App on a device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), and the distribution profile is used when you're submitting your application to Apple to get it onto the store. https://stackoverflow.co...

Re: Get a provisioning profile for iOS standalone
I've been there the day before yesterday. I did the 1st part 'Generating a Certificate Signing Request'. I saved the certificate in my development folder, and it's there all right. BUT then I followed the links in a desperate depth-first search… and finally got stuck; bear with me please: On that sa...
