Re: Concerns about LiveCode

You're fine regarding Apple's attitude towards LiveCode. Quite a few apps have been uploaded to the iTunes store by now and I don't know of any app that has been rejected solely because of being LiveCode. Mark: Quite a few... Not sure if thats good or not :) Im on the same boat, Im planning to buy ...

any thought in Gritty Sounds Pack

I saw that on the store, and I was wondering if someone can give a review, or is there a way to take a look (demo).

iOS vs Android (revenue)

I can not put the link, but its from Wired. The Android Market and Apple App Store are locked in constant battle for the hearts and minds of mobile device users. Although Apple still holds a lead in the total number of app offerings, its dominance looks to be diminishing. But fear not, Apple fan boy...

Free App for a while? Or free version?

If you put a free App on the App Store, wait for a while to get up in the rankings, and then put a price on it, the stats of the rankings get to zero? or not?
I saw that "Wheres my Water?" was free for a while, it hit the top 1 on Games, and now it is for sale again....

Re: I Need help

On a tutorial, from RunRev, it said that the intersection function requires a lot of processing, and is a good idea to use it only if needed. In that example with an if statement it checked first if the object was close to where it could intersect, and then it use it. Good idea to know that while co...

Re: Web deployment & phonegap etc

I think it depends on the final users you are trying to get.
I agree that if no plug in were required was better, on the other hand if you already made an application and you want to be on the Web, well, its very easy to do.

Re: week 3 academy question

They (the instructors) put a random function to perform this.
If you download the final stacks on that lesson, you will see the code.
