Browser Widget JavaScript pass parameters

If you have the JavaScript in a browser widget "Browser1" for example, 1. how would you pass the parameters/variables a and b to the script 2. how would you get the value x back from the script <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <body> <p>A typical arithmetic operation takes two numbers (or variables) and produ...

Re: Can Livecode win this?

From the Reply Site.
Each source code file must be an UTF8 plain text file, or an archive of UTF-8 files.
So it would have to be script only.

Can LiveCode win this? .yes but it depends on the problem and the programmers.
The 15th will cause a problem as its the next LiveCode Global day!

Re: Cannot make SE colorization stick

I'm working on a hack for the ide that will allow one custom theme to be set directly from the Script editor preferences pane of the the preferences stack. I'm hard coding this first for testing and when happy that it's robust enough, I will make the relevant changes in the repository and hopefully ...

Re: Cannot make SE colorization stick

The files are in the Mac bundle and you normally do not have permission to write to them. Try this...make backup copies of any files you are going to alter so that you can reinstate if required. Right click on your copy of Livecode and choose "show content" then navigate the path and right click on ...

Re: A darker Background editor ! Or more colors to the existing one.

Luckily the code for the script editor hasn't changed much over the years. If you added the function to allow the set colors to be stored within a custom property of the stack and then a save stack option then I think this should be pushed to the LiveCode team as an automatic plugin inclusion for al...

Re: A darker Background editor ! Or more colors to the existing one.

Nice stack. There is a minor problem with line 15 of button "colourize" of card id 1002 of stack "revScriptColourEditor", the id has changed. Changing the original from this set the label of button id 1540 of stack "revPreferencesGUI" to "Custom" to this set the label of button "Colorization Scheme"...
