Re: I'm doing wrong here please help me

This is probably to do with the separator you are using between the words.

LC normally defaults to a comma as the separator but you can change this by using

Code: Select all

set the itemdel to space
dictionary entry

Re: LC Buddy collaborative coding

So a quick update on LC Buddy and where I'm at. I'm working on the screen recording at the moment and am using FFmpeg command line utility. https://ffmpeg.org/ This comes in Windows, MacOS and Linux flavors and will need to be installed separately to LC Buddy. I have this working well under Windows ...

Re: Free & Paid app versions

The easiest and cleanest way is to have a separate paid app and amend the free app to advertise the paid for app.

Re: LC Buddy collaborative coding

OK back to LC Buddy! So I've got a lot of the server stuff sorted and am now restarting the LC Buddy stack coding but, before I really start digging into this, can you please look at my project notes below and make comments. suggestions on what I've outlined. Re: LC Buddy collaborative coding

Thanks for all the suggestions. Not a lot has happened with LC Buddy, I've been kept quite busy lately and unfortunately nothing code related. Before I get back to LC Buddy, I've been thinking (a lot) about how I work with GitHub and script only files and came to the conclusion that I wanted a dead ...

Re: LC vs Flutter

Thanks for the update Todd, It's great to see that you are doing so well. Just looked at XpressoBooks, looks an interesting concept and well timed for the financial submission changes. Re the app to control the Tesla car. Was this for Tesla or a third party...just curious. Anyway, well done again an...

Re: LC vs Flutter

I've used Flutter and the apps it produces are fast and true to Android and IOS in terms of appearance and operation but unless you know the Dart language or are comfortable with JavaScript then the learning curve is much higher than LiveCode. Its a Google project which they are using internally whi...

Odd, I cannot replicate any of what you describe and is shown in your image on Windows.

Re: LC Buddy collaborative coding

Thanks for the feedback. I had actually put this aside because of the the lack of prior responses, thinking it was a dead duck! But now back on the case. I want to start with a very basic proof of concept which will include all of the functions in my original post. Once this is deemed to be function...
