Zebra barcode scanner : "Intent" output method with LC ?

Zebra sells several Android PDAs with integrated barcode scanner (good and affordable) https://www.zebra.com/us/en/products/mobile-computers/handheld/tc20.html It has developped "Datawedge", an app to set the parameters of its barcode scanner and to set the method to send/display the data. The main ...

Re: Problem in Querying SQLite Database

Add answer tQuery answer tInfo Just to be sure that's not related to the datagrid or the query. Then, if tInfo still doesn't contains what it should : put "SELECT * FROM cleDetails" into tQuery put revDataFromQuery(tab,cr,gCLE_DatabaseID,tQuery) into tInfo answer tInfo ... Just to be sure that you d...

Re: Communicate with a webdav server

What does your LibURL code look like? This is the header. I've tried with httpheaders and libURLSetCustomHTTPHeaders. PROPFIND HTTP/1.1 Host: myserver.com Authorization: Basic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Content-Type: text/xml Content-Length: 86 Depth: 1 Accept: */* <?xml version="1.0" ?> <D:propfind xmlns...

Re: Communicate with a webdav server

After hours of tests... I start to think that LC classic internet functions do not support the PROPFIND method ! Even by playing with httpheaders and libURLSetCustomHTTPHeaders. I managed to get something working only by using tsNet : tsNetCustomSync (but it's available only in Indy edition). put tr...

Re: Communicate with a webdav server

I haven't used WebDAV from LC yet, but I'll need to in the coming months. What header fields do you need to set? Perhaps I can put that into an example for both of us. First a simple PROPFIND would do (depth 0), in order to list all the files at root directory, with all their properties (the idea i...

You can probably use tsNet for this.
That is my goal indeed... But only after I figure out the contents of the http headers, the XML data to be sent (with PROPFIND command for instance), etc.

Eventually, the idea is to create a library so LC can communicate with a webdav system.

Re: Updating a MySQL Database after Text Fields are Changed

First : tID is not defined in your closecard script with the loop. on closecard repeat with x = 1 to 6 put the name of grp x of grp "digest" into tField[x] put fld 1 of grp x of grp "digest" into tNewText[x] put "UPDATE MyTable SET '"&tField[x]&"' = '"&tNewText[x]&"' WHERE id='"& tID &"'" into tSQL ...

Communicate with a webdav server

I would like to communicate with a "webdav" server (Nextcloud, it's like a Dropbox system) for : -upload file -download file -and PROPFIND (to get a listing of the server's files) Everything works well... when I use CURL on Windows : For instance : curl -u user:password -X PROPFIND "https://myserver...

Re: Ah the use list ...

My 2 cents (about the original subject) : the "use-list" is... a century old. 20th. Forum is the modern way to go : -more functions (search, pictures etc.) -no redundant traffic by email I understand that some people would regret it because of habits.... But from a rational point of view... it's poi...

Re: Barcode scanner recommendations?

If you want something that takes up less space, I can recommend using a mobile phone instead of a laptop, together with Bluetooth ring scanners. Or an Android device, with an integrated barcode scanner. Like : Zebra TC 20 https://www.zebra.com/gb/en/products/mobile-computers/handheld/tc20.html Or :...

Can anyone point me in the correct direction of a barcode scanner for LiveCode? The following link is one that shows where the forms of data I need to pull into the application for use in a login system: https://www.reddit.com/r/AirForce/comments/7uqrw4/scanning_cac_barcodes_for_fun_and_efficiency/...

Re: Black screen on launch

Hi, anyone found a solution to this? I'm experiencing the same problem on a device running Android 5.1. I've tried the tricks suggested on the bug reports with no success. BTW I'm running LC 9.0.2 build 15152 Unfortunatly no (with LC 9.02) It might work if you use 8.10 With LC 9.02, even with a sta...

Re: What are you working on?

Interesting Bankok... that you are building a barcode reader for android . So how do you make the reader? There is no LiveCode barcode reader for Android available even though I requested one almost two years ago  First : use a dedicated terminal (android "smartphone" with a barcode reader, in...
